“Gorkha is already operational in two societies in Pune, where more than 5000 visitors have been signed-in, 10,000+ SMS's exchanged, and 100+ events have been created through this app in a one-month trial run,” says the company representative. “With the increasing prevalence of phone sensors, NFC, iBeacon products like Estimote and Apple Watch, it’s plausible that users could one day have their own Gorkha ID, which will automatically logs them in as visitors wherever they visit, keeping track of each visit,” he added.
