Maybe we'll make something, Me, myself I got nothing to prove - “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman
Visual Lyrics 6
The photo in the background emphasizes the lyrics; it represents the current situations which the lyrics foreshadow. The colours create a contrast of the past and present to continue emphasizing the lyrics.

“Bold and Eerie”
The background picture is of a stormy sky because I wanted to emphasize “storm” and “clouds” in this visual lyric. The white font colour really pops on the dark background, so it’s very “in your face”. The font for the word “storm” is sort of eerie and haunting - I wanted to use something that portrayed that feeling of a dark and stormy night. The edges in the font are a bit rugged and worn and the lines are very off (nothing is straight or parallel), so that adds a sense of mystery and confusion. To balance those feelings, however, I added the boxed lines as a way to frame the lyrics and to add structure and character.
