Every pictorial layer becomes a stratum of memory, where identity survives fragmented, eroded, and only partially preserved. Time is not illustrated. It is sedimented. In Stratigraphic Expressionism, color is not used to describe appearances but to reveal the geological accumulation of consciousness. Faces, cities, and landscapes belong to the same archaeological field, where memory, matter, and history merge into a single visual structure. The work proposes a Visual Archaeology of Being: an exploration of what remains when history ceases to be a narrative and becomes matter. Holzer
