Design Process: Vitimir
Vitimir is one of the Coven Heads just like Adrian. However, unlike Adrian, there is little known about them. This is because unlike Adrian or Kikimora, Vitimir never got to star in his own episode (this is the case with alot of the coven heads.). Hence, everything known about Vitimir is taken from a few instances of being seen in the show.
Vitimir is the Coven Head of the Potion Coven specifically. Vitimir's design is pretty androgynous, hence it allows me to play with the clothes more, especially as it appears they are a demon or part demon. One interesting aspect with Vitimir is that they are seen to breath some sort of toxin, with their mouth that appears melted. This explains why the keep their mouth covered in their design. I wanted to try to keep this aspect within the design.
Vitimir concepts were pretty simple. One being a more "scientist" type of outfit, another being casual and his hair covering his eyes instead of clothing covering his eyes. and the final being a casual outfit with more fluffy hair. Tali decided on the Scientist outfit with the fluffy hair, hence, onwards I went!
Vitimir has originally a very dull green-grey coloured skin, to teh point it looks jsut grey. I decided to make it more clearly green to try and liven them a bit. I made the accents (the gloves, belt and buttons) a yellow, as the Potion Coven's colour is yellow. I was going to make the main colour of the outfit a similar purple to Adrian's hair to make it black, however I ended up choosing a more pink-ish purple instead, to keep the warmth.
Once Tali saw him she was very happy, saying that he is "slaying" . ("Slaying" is slang used online to describe someone looking good.)
