It was always his favourite time of year.. until what happened between the two of them around Christmas. He wanted this year to be different. A bit more exciting.

Frances had been moved into Murder House for about a year or so now. He had grown accustomed to the various things that would go bump in the night but one unsettling thing in the outside world currently had his mind wrecked. The academy for warlocks that he had been forced to attend for three years before he came to LA again wanted him back. They knew just how much of a danger he could pose with Halloween being around the corner and the headmaster at the academy didn't want anything going wrong. Sitting down in the living room of the large Victorian house he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up with a zippo lighter that used to be his father's. Inhaling the sweet, cancerous smoke he seemed jarred when a loud crash came from the other room. Everything had him on edge as of lately.
"Stop fucking around in there!.." He shouted, inhaling another long drag from his cigarette as he looked towards where the noise came from. God only knows what ghost had caused that god awful clattering of noise. Running his free hand back through his black hair he sighed and shifted from his seat walking over to the record player where he placed one of The Smith's records on allowing Morissey's angst filled voice to fill the old corridor.
