Btw I love your fics and the way you portray Rhodey and Tony's friendship and relationship. Your writing is anything but mediocre. It's outstanding!! And your fics aren't like a majority of the fics out there. they have substance and depth!

couldn't agree more about the Sam/Steve feed. I had a suspicion the love for that pairing would die down pretty quickly after the novelty of it disappeared, so back to the white ships it is..

Thank youuuuuuu, and I worried that would be the case but I was optimistic.  I hung in there for a while but pure Sam/Steve is officially hard to come by nowadays :-(

the highest kudos and commented Pepper/Tony fanfic on AO3 is actually Bucky/Steve-centric with them as a back, back pairing *sigh* I don't even hate them, but wish I could filter them out with greater ease

Duuuuuuude even worse: the highest rated Rhodey/Tony on ao3 is a Tony/Everyone slutfic where Tony and Rhodey never actually have sex but everyone else fucks Tony ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME.  It's appalling.  And I don't dislike any ships outright, but I can't act like I'm not resentful of the unpopularity of my OTP.  I feel so aloooooone

T________T i never followed that feed in the first place for that very same super-frustrating reason, and I'm so sad to hear that it's been entirely overrun. FANDOM COME ON DON'T LET SAMSTEVE DIE.

We'll see a resurgence after AOU (apparently he was seen filming, but Mackie hasn't confirmed that he's in it) and CA:CW, I'm sure, but as far as it becoming any sort of a well-represented and popular ship, naahhh.

I need all the Tony/Rhodey in general.  I have been reading the same twenty fics over and over again for months now and I've even resorted to rereading my fucking own at times.  I suppose that there'll be more Big Guns after AOU comes out, but it won't be much, though I'll still be grateful.

Thaaaaaanks! and I do have some Sam/Steve stories plotted out (and even a Sam/Tony for some odd fuckin' reason) but I have to admit that those two don't pull my strings the way Rhodey and Tony do.  But I'm done denying my muse in any way because this drought of good Marvel fic featuring characters of color has got to go!

H:Do you prefer real-life TV shows or animated TV shows?I don't watch a lot of tv in general, but all the television I watch is live action.  I was never one for animated films once I got old and rickety, and what pretty much sealed the deal was this ex I had when I lived in DC.  He was huuuuuge into anime and so we often watched animated films, which is no big deal, but we also had a very healthy sex life and would often end up getting distracted and fucking in the middle of these films.  Imagine it: you're getting some bomb head when you look up and see Spirited Away or Princess Mononoke on the screen.  I couldn't handle hearing childlike voice and seeing childlike faces during coitus, and it's given me a bit of a complex.  I avoid anime in general now - it just reminds me of him, and to be honest it's never been a big interest of mine.  I still haven't finished Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore because it's an anime and I just can't bear to look at it.  I feel like a shitty person because of this.  I am a bit interested in Ghost in the Shell, mostly due to some of the art I've seen and that song that KMDFM did for it.  If you're reading this and you like Ghost In The Shell, please inbox/fanmail me and tell me stuff about it!

U:What are your favorite male/female ships?Ooooh, het ships!  Tony/Pepper is awesome, and I'm honestly kinda proud of myself for being into a canon ship since they're typically unpopular in fandoms.  But really tho, Rhodey/Pepper might be my ultimate het ship, and it's because of one story: (The Constant Road) Across The Wilderness by hegemony.  You'd think there'd be more fic and fanworks about Rhodey and Pepper but there aren't, and this is a truly well-written and heartfelt story of them falling in love while Tony is missing in Afghanistan.  It's from Pepper's point of view.  hegemony has a way with Pepper, she writes just just so. fucking. well, and this story is so in-character and slightly gut-wrenching at times.  Please read it if you haven't, and leave her a comment.  If you're a Rhodey fan, you'll love it!  I've also been entertaining the idea of writing some Fury/Natasha in the near future. After Cap 2 I can't help but ship them!

V:Do you have any 3-way ships? If so, what?What's fucked up that I actually do not practice monogamy in my own love life, but I really really love seeing it in fic.  Sometimes I think people get a little overboard with representation, but only in the sense that sometimes it makes stories convoluted and hard to read.  All these stories where everyone's poly and queer and aromantic...I get it, represent, but if you wanna know what kinda shit I have bookmarked, it's simple stories of two people forging a connection with one another.That said, the only OT3 I ship is Tony/Rhodey/Pepper.  For obvious reasons. They're practically canon in the MCU.

(for anyone who's interested in X-nerd stuff, Changelings are the precursors to mutants whose powers showed up at birth.  However, since they would often get like, burned for being demon babies, mutants evolved for their powers to show up during puberty)

all of this!! ahh I always get so mad when I think of Tommy and how they handle him as a character. So much lost potential :(((

and also annoying plot holes like maybe if i knew more about tommy i would be more convinced that they are actually wanda's soul-sons or w/e but atm im kinda with tommy. its very coincidental to the point where its creepy but im still "well they WERE literally birthed from different people"
