Let’s see what happens...
I got a call from Vivala this morning, this is the message they left. I never thought they’d call directly because I never received an email first like other people did. Also I don’t understand everything he says but basically it’s to inform me hat I’ve created a Vivala account some time ago and that if I have questions I can call this number or send them an email.
@worriesconstantly I think you’ll find this interesting.
Holy shit holy shit what the fuck
pattern
a pattern, a formula for all these fuckiness:
bait us --> lure us --> make sure we’re really hooked --> then it gets fucking hot we feel like we’re unravelling a mystery --> then boop. it’s gone.
You know what is REALLY fucky about that vivala.me company?
HOW do they know WHEN is the right time to send videos?? I mean - 16. birthday, sure, that date doesn’t change. BUT things like your child’s wedding? HOW do they know when they client’s child is getting married to send them a message? I MEAN DO THEY SPY THEIR CLIENT’S FAMILY???
Moriarty uses vivala pass it on :,D Also this whole vid (THE VERY START OF THE SERIES!!!) is the biggest ARG mood
One thing about that Vivala website, don’t know if anyone has mentioned this but… The video on the main website won’t play on my iPad, I mean the audio will play but there is no video. (I’m talking about the shorter video with the male voice.) So I just closed my eyes and listened, and I couldn’t help but notice something …he says some version of the word “control” 14 times in the video. 14 times in 4 minutes. 6 Times in the first minute. This is really … it’s subliminal messaging levels, isn’t it? They are selling a service and the REAL service is maintaining control after your death. Control of your assets, yes, but since they are primarily focusing on sending posthumous messages it’s more about continued control of your life and those in it… they are selling what Mary was buying. Control from beyond the grave.
(The only non-tinhat reason I can think of for this is if I guess they are Polish? And maybe it’s a language barrier thing, where “control” sounds significantly less ominous in Polish? I seriously doubt it but I’m always trying to come up with a rational explanation also)
edit: ok rational was not the right word, the ARG is rational, it is a possible explanation. I tend to get over-excited and irrational when I think about it, though, which is why I try to be very careful and skeptical.
Lol but what if there wasn't even an ARG originally planned, but we were so intent on analyzing everything that they ended up starting one for our benefit? Assuming all these things are actually part of it: It would explain the haphazardly-thrown-togetherness of thelostspecial.com, as well as the domain being registered in late January. (Maybe the letter posted was because they couldn't figure out what to do? Or it's part of the ARG.) The contact twitters might not have been "real" at first, but were pulled into it when the ARG planning started. Vivala was its own, real life, actual product, but was given money and/or the promise of exposure and beta testing to release the site early and advertise specifically to TJLCers. I'm not saying this is what happened. I just think it could be a possibility. And some of these things could be true on different time scales regardless. Alternatively, there is a larger ARG planned starting on March 8, and they threw together a training round for us so we wouldn't get bored in the interim. Since we will be leading the charge come March 8.
