He closed his eyes for a short moment. Nio stood by the root of the stairs, wide eyes staring to the ground. He was supposed to make his way up the stairs, but his legs wouldn't manage. Nio knew that if he'd try to walk up, he would fall backwards and probably break his neck. Once again had walking outside without Damien been a terrible idea. Even if Nio would probably never fully recover from this eating disorder, he still wasn't healthy enough to walk outside without supervision, it seemed. Nio cursed himself for that. He had been foolish in his choices, and these were the consequences.

People started at the thin man as the walked past, his hand was tied in a tight grip over the railing. No-one asked for help, they just stared. A child pointed at him, Nio heard something about a skeleton. He cursed the other humans for that, for the humiliation they caused him. And for forcing him to ask for help himself.

Nio couldn't help the change he'd had to go through the last couple of months. The change of character was something that rather had been forced upon him than he choosing it for himself. Nio was quiet, he didn't have much to say. His voice was more hoarse than ever before and he was always cold, and tried. The never ending feeling of sleep that clogged his head... Nio gave in to it as often as he could. Damien helped feeding him, or at least made sure he ate what he was supposed to. But keeping anything down for a long period of time was still a challenge. Nio drew a shaky breath through thin lips.

"Would you help me?" he asked as the next person was about to pass. "Up the stairs?"

A brow rose along with his sarcastic response and right after that, a hand slid behind his head to grip at those dark locks and another hand took a hold on his jaw in order to keep him in place as he began to plant brief kisses across his face, cheeks, ear, forehead, nose, chin and finally lips with a slightly harder and longer one; soon after retreating from that position, as well as moving away his hands.
