a little rant about eve

so i have seen almost everyone hating eve, and honestly, i hate her too, at least i used to until i re-read the series. this may hurt some people, but please read before you comment.

we forget that eve was and is neglected. first by her parents, then by blake, and toby too. yes, what eve has done in tfg, tbh, and tgg is beyond explanation. but have we considered her reasons? no.

she was neglected, lonely, and just needed someone to understand her and listen to her. gray became that someone, but after the events of tfg, we all know what happened.

in tbh, she said to gray about how she needed a friend. and only slate is the person who was loyal to her. toby never saw a daughter in her. avery was his daughter.

what i want to say is, eve is a well written character, with so many reasons to hate the hawthornes and avery. i'm no saying her actions are justified. no, definitely not. but what i am saying is, that let's not hate her just because she looks like emily or how she just needs some love and comfort, but not like her for what she did to gigi and savannah, and grayson.

how her need for love and comfort turned into something sinister.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Joe is just not deleting his follows, something Taylor used to do, before she wiped her instagram. Joe didn’t play into that drama that Taylor’s closet friends did by unfollowing him. Not all of her friends unfollowed him, and I have much respect for them, to not act like high schoolers. Joe deserves a lot better than what happened with Taylor.

you are so right about this. he doesn’t deserve ANY hate regarding their breakup. every coin has two sides, for gods sake! and neither of them, have spoken about it, yet everyone’s first response was to hate on joe.
