Yes, it was worth being up 48 hours and taking two flights to the other side of the planet. It was really odd seeing only five of them and not six, but they soldiered on without their enlisted leader. @sajin_sarang sat next to me, and that was great. Hyuk was careful and didn’t bounce around much at all. Taekwoon’s voice continues to improve. I finally got to attend a Fantasia where Jaehwan wore his hair up. Ravi’s scant few weeks of Taekwondo are already paying off in spades. Hongbin still gets nervous when he has to sing alone, but he’s doing much better. And Starlights, of course, continue to be one of the best fandoms anywhere. The encore continued another ten, fifteen minutes after this, with the boys literally running all over the stadium: no one grabbed them or pushed to get at them. No one even touched them unless the boys reached out. I respect that enormously. So a good time was had by all, and I suppose it was more or less worth the absolutely disgusting head and chest cold that consequently wasted two of my days here in Korea. I’m hoping to go out tomorrow— if the typhoon isn’t too messy, of course. Fun!
