I just finished watching next class and the main thing that bothered me was there's only 10 episodes. I really hope we don't have to wait another year just for 10 more

Yeah, 10 episodes feels so short! I agree - I hope that we won’t have to wait an entire year just for 10 more. That would be quite a long wait. I don’t know much about their scheduling or whatever, but hopefully we’ll hear more soon! :) I hope you enjoyed it overall! I haven’t started yet, but I’m hoping to soon!

So I guess Netflix has picked up Degrassi? ahh I'm glad it's not cancelled, haha.

Yeah! I just read the news! I’m glad too. I’ll always have a soft spot for the show and will probably always watch even though I’m getting further and further away from the target audience, haha! :’)

Did you hear season 14 is gonna be the last season?!!

I literally just read about it and ran to tumblr immediately, haha! I am so surprised! This is really sad. :(

For me, Degrassi had always felt like one of those shows that would just kind of always be there. The franchise has been around for decades, and I personally have been watching for about 13 years! 

I mean, I admittedly can be hard on the show sometimes. I haven’t felt as invested in the show for the last little while, but maybe that’s partly because of my age, and I do think that it has had some lesser seasons lately, but it’s still going to be really sad to see it go...especially since I read that they’re just going to burn off all the episodes in July. That’s not much of a send-off, especially for a show that has been around for years (and a franchise for decades). Obviously I don’t know anything about behind-the-scenes stuff, but I can’t help but feel like we all -- fans, cast, and crew -- deserve a little better send-off!

I'm watching the most recent episode, and Clare's dream about her and Simpson was so cringey to watch! all I could think was "what the hell is this?!" haha.

Ahhh I know!! I just finished watching the episode and I'm seriously soooo weirded out by that dream sequence! That's definitely one of the stranger things we've seen on the show in a while...and really kind of uncomfortable and unnecessary! What on earth...

Who's the #1 person that you miss being on Degrassi? I miss Bianca :(

I miss Bianca too! She was a really great character who had a ton of potential that was probably never fully realized. She had a good screen presence and I really enjoyed watching her. :)

If we're including every Degrassi character of all time, then the character I miss most is Ellie (and then Liberty is a super close second!). But if we're just considering the characters of the last few seasons, then I think I miss Holly J the most! I also miss Tori and wish we'd gotten to see more of her. Oh, and for fun I miss Jake!
