Sun Ra and His Arkesta recorded at Tivoli Hall, Copenhagen, Denmark on December 5, 1971. Available on wax for the first time!  This set was previously only released on cd, in 88.  This is the crazy Ra, keyboard and percussion freakouts and all the hippie chants your heart desire.  Amazing live set.

Live Ra, recorded in 1966 and '68!  Originally only available on Sun Ra's personal label, El Saturn Records, these albums often featured hand made art and were assembled by members of Sun Ra's band. Forget trying to chase down original Saturn/El Saturn hand made pressings, they're near impossible to find and are very sought after by hardcore Ra collectors.  This first time vinyl reissue was originally pressed exclusively for RSD 2016, on blue wax.  This black pressing was released earlier this year.  Ra fans will love it.  The crazy horns and percussion that often accompanies Ra's keyboard gymnastics are largely missing, but the weirdo chanting and wild piano is there.

Sun Ra Post #3 of 3 Originally recorded  in New York City in 1968, this hasn't been reissued since the late 70's!  More crazy Ra.  Same deal here, a colored variant was pressed for RSD and quickly sold out, this is the standard black version.  Remastered for vinyl and sounding glorious.
