Langst Month

Back in May, we made a few polls to create the best possible event the Langst Fandom may want!

The grand winner was Langst Month!

The Langst Month will be held at the dawn of autumn, in September, so as not to clash with other month-long events like Julance or Inktober!

We cannot wait to share the prompts with all of you. It'll take us a little more patience, as they will be released around August to leave a preparatory period for those who wish to participate!

Carrot & Stick Plance WIP Bang - Interest Check

WRITERS: Do long-forgotten fics keep you up all night? Ones you promised you’d update...back in 2019, and now they just sit there, in the corner of your accounts, staring mournfully while you just keep putting it off?

ARTISTS: Do you want to draw, but just can’t find the muse? Have you been dying to read that next chapter of your favorite fic, but don’t know how to motivate the writer?

Well, do we have a bang for you!

Artists choose a dormant fic for their writer to work on, for which writers must complete the next 2-4 chapters.  Writers select 1-3 scenes from their work, which artists must art.

Work is kept secret and -- after a couple of carrot-laden check-ins along the way -- everything is posted up in one week, in true bang style!

So, what do you say?  Please take 2 minutes to fill out the form to let us know! There’s only three questions - your interest, preferred deadline, and preferred content requirement.

If there’s enough interest, we’ll make arrangements post-haste and we’ll all be home clear in time for the New Year!

We all love our Voltron family, and sometimes we wish they had more opportunity to show that love to each other. That is, friend and family love. In a fandom full of romance and ships, these beautiful platonic relationships all too often end up lost in the crowd.

It is for that reason that we bring to you Gentron Week! For seven eight days, we’ll be celebrating everybody’s favorite space dorks with solely platonic fics and art! This event is dedicated to friendship, family, teammates, rivals, and any other platonic relationship you can fathom!

The event will run from August 3rd to August 10th, 2020, and each day will feature two optional prompts for writers and artists to work with:

August 3rd: Cuddle Pile | Literal Sleeping Together

August 4th: Wings AU | Adopting a Pet Together

August 5th: Telepathic Bond | Crying in Front of the Other

August 6th: Meeting the Family | Cultural Exchange

August 7th: Fairy Tales/Fantasy | Protecting the Other’s Honor

August 8th: Taking the Hit for the Other | Injury Aftercare

August 9th: Beach Day | Road Trip

August 10th: FREE DAY

We are super excited for chance to spread some platonic love throughout the Voltron fandom, and we hope you are too! We cannot wait to see what this community can create!

It’s that time of year again! Due to the insanity that is COVID-19, instead of doing a week event it’s going to be for the whole month so people have more time to work things into their crazy schedules. Instead of the usual 8 prompts there will be 12 to choose from and you can post at any time within the month. This year we’re doing a theme of emotion for the prompts, so there’s lots of room for creativity.

We will allow NSFW and darker themes (gore, violence, etc.) but please give the proper warnings and place anything deemed explicit underneath a “read more” cut.

The prompts are a loose inspiration for you to use! 

Works can be Pikelavar in the fantasy world Monsters and Mana is set in, an AU that involves Pike and Meklavar, or Lance and Pidge playing Monsters and Mana or some other creative combination. The work just has to include Pike and Meklavar in some shape or form.

Shotor Week 2019

Hello everyone! The summer is well underway, and we are here to celebrate with a summer-themed Shotor week!! Join in the fun by posting fanart, fanfics, edits, headcanons (any form of art, really!) celebrating Shiro and Lotor’s relationship!

The Shotor Summer Week will be held August 18th-24th.

The theme for each day is as follows:

Sunday, August 18th: Beach Day

Monday, August 19th: Vacation  

Tuesday, August 20th: Storms

Wednesday, August 21st: Fashion

Thursday, August 22nd: Summer Nights

Friday, August 23rd: Celebrations

Saturday, August 24th: Free Day

These themes are free for interpretation, and are meant to prompt or inspire your creativity! If none of the prompts inspire you, consider contributing on the free day!

No ship hate of any kind will be tolerated in this event.

Works containing Lotor x Alternate Shiros are allowed.

We’re super excited to announce Tidal Waves: A Lance Zine! Tidal Waves is a Lance centric free PDF zine to celebrate Lance for his birthday. Applications are now open until March 30th. Unlike Atlas, Tidal Waves will not be first come first serve so please keep that in mind when applying. Confirmation emails and a link to the discord sever will be sent out soon after applications close. Please keep in mind that while we are allowing ships the main focus must remain on Lance and all works must remain SFW. We hope to see you soon!
