It's actually a little unnerving that Pidge is blind and can still go MacGyver in a situation. But it's effective. Even if she did seem to blow something up. At least she's proud. Also, Regris and Olia absolutely have no idea what or who a MacGyver is. To be expected.

Anyway, the idea of Pidge saying "I'm gonna MacGyver this shit" hit me and I had to draw it. Or part of it. Including showing Olia in a new uniform for the AU. And there's a reason why Pidge isn't in her armour, we'll eventually see it in fic form.

I love to complain about vld rebels barely having any spotlight in the show after s4 but you know at the very least DW didn't get to ruin the sense of found family that the rebel crew had like they did to the paladins

Just something I’ve been wanting to write for awhile... Enjoy :)

“They’re dead, Matt.”

He froze.

“You don’t know that for sure Olia,” he replied softly.

“Matt,” she starts gently, putting a comforting paw on his shoulder. “It’s been many phoebes since we’ve last heard or had any contact with Voltron. I’m sorry but-”

“No!” Matt snarls, turning on her, eyes blazing. “No. They’re not dead. They can’t be. My sister’s a fighter- they all are.”

“Oh, Matt,” Olia whispers, ears drooping, a mixture of sympathy and pity in her eyes. She goes in to hug him but he quickly turns and walks away.

Once Matt enters his room- the doors sliding shut with a soft hiss- he breaks. He crumples to the floor, head in his hands as tears trickle down his face. Slowly, at first, but it gradually turns into a stream as cries rock his body. One of his hands lowers, clutching his chest- right over his heart.

And it hurts.

Hurts so badly he can’t breathe. Can’t think straight. Can’t function.

And then he’s drowning, drowning, sinking into a sea of black.

Briefly he wonders if this is what his Mom and Katie felt when his Dad and him were gone.

Before he’s swallowed up by the darkness.
