Voltron ActorAU!

because it’s been stuck in my stupid brain for quite some time now. 

Keith is a child actor who got his breakout role starring in a very well known sitcom about an alien family living on Earth. Shiro played his brother on the show, and therefore they have known each other since they were kids.

After the show, Keith stayed heavily in the spotlight, getting cast in a lot of supporting roles in action movies. He is usually type-casted as the gloomy, mysterious character. After some time, he felt somewhat burned out and disappeared completely for a year. The tabloids went crazy and assumed a lot of bad things.

When Coranic Studios reached out for him to audition for a role on the newest show ‘Voltron’, he didn’t think much of it and threw away the invite [aka. deleted the email.] Shiro then had to convince the kid to give the show a chance-and Keith begrudgingly complied. 

At the audition, he was met with a line of people who were all battling for the same part. He kept to himself and felt a little better with Shiro at his side. He was irritated when he could hear the other’s whispering about him.

His acting was phenomenal, as expected, however the director did voice his concern about his current standing in the public eye. Keith didn’t care, which was expected, and told them that he was there to complete the job- not to make friends. Coran laughed at how similar he was to his character and said that he got the role.

After Shiro’s breakout role on the sitcom alongside Keith, he began to fade from the acting world and join the world of directing. For the most part, he enjoyed the behind-the-scenes over being in front of the camera. When Shiro showed up with Keith at the auditions, Coran screamed in excitement and decided on the spot to ask Shiro to audition for a part in the show. He liked how the two had experience acting together!

Shiro, who was now a little rusty, decided to audition (because fuck it) and ended up landing one of the lead roles.

Kathryn Holt, better known by her stage name ‘Pidge’, is known for her roles in a handful of different sci-fi films. Her breakout role was in a movie that was very similar to ‘Interstellar’. She played the all-knowing space explorer that helped guide her team through the depths of space with her knowledge.

Recently, she had been taking a break from the spotlight in order to complete her Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. She was studying the day she received the email from Coranic Studios to audition for a role in his latest show. She was skeptical at first because she wanted to focus on her schooling, but was ultimately sold when she read through the pilot episode.

At her audition, she met a handful of people who were also auditioning for the role, her favorite being a guy named Matt. The hiring director and casting agents loved her and Matt’s chemistry and decided to cast him as the brother. They were so happy that they both got a spot on the show.

Hunk Garrett is everyone’s favorite children’s actor. He is well known for his hit TV show called “Cooking with Friends!”. He played the lead role of Chip, alongside his TV co-host Shay. After the show ended, the TV lovebirds eventually settled down and got married!

Hunk was a little nervous when he got the email in regards to the show because it would be his first ‘serious’ show. His wife Shay was the one that encouraged and pushed him to commit to scheduling an audition. 

When the day came, Hunk felt unbelievably nervous and stress baked enough goods to feed an army. Shay jokingly told him to bring everyone a cupcake to ‘prove that he could play the character correctly’ and ended up actually doing it. The directors loved him and offered him the job on the spot.

The next day, Shay received an email from Coranic Studios that invited her to audition for the part of a supporting character after hearing so much about her and watching her act alongside Hunk Garrett. 

Lance McClain is everyone’s favorite up-and-coming actor. He is known for pulling at the heart strings of everyone watching, especially in his first well-known TV Drama, called ‘The Loss’. Since he is fairly new in the acting scene, everyone has high hopes for his next role.

He was actually the one who contacted Coranic Studios about the auditions first. He sent in his acting reel, as well as links to all of the small shows and commercials he was a part of. Initially, he just planned to audition for a small role...a background character or supporting role, but Coran had other plans. 

Coran, who definitely ugly cried while watching ‘The Loss’, knew that Lance was someone special. He knew that his energy was going to be good for the overall production of the show and was hired on the spot.

Allura Altea. England’s princess. She is very popular in Europe and was cast in her first US American break-out role in the Drama ‘The Loss’. She was the lead alongside Lance McClain. She is one of the co-writers on the show and didn’t plan on actually acting in the show itself. After a couple of rounds of auditions (and a couple of defeated casting agents) someone joked that Allura should just audition for the role of the princess. She laughed it off, but then really thought about it.

After another full day of not being able to find the right person to cast for the role, she scheduled an audition for herself and got the part. A lot of people were skeptical because she co-wrote the show along-side her uncle Coran, however everyone knew that she was a credible actress. Once the show came out, everyone fell in love with her character.

after 600 years here is an update!  Lance has a fan! Shiro is super supportive! TOT <3 Lance! Let yourself LOVE this man and just chiiiiilllllll.
