You’ve been assigned as the captain of your volleyball team and have been tasked with picking the five ( 5 ) other people for your team. Who do you pick and why?

Let’s see. I’d want people who are reliable even if they’re not exactly sports lovers, people who are going to try their hardest but also know it’s fine if we just hang out and have fun. ... I think I’d go with Juno ( @vldjuno ), Odum ( @odumvld ), Saeun ( @vldsaeun ) ... and Sam ( @samuelvld ) and Gyumin ( @gyuminvld ). Sam owes me one and Gyumin kinda owes me a vase, so maybe this would be a sufficient repayment from both of them. They’d be getting off pretty easy, honestly. Well, at least Sam would. Gyumin’s isn’t as big of a deal.

Would you rather swim under Cheonjeyeon Waterfall or Jeongbang Falls?

One hundred percent Cheonjeyeon Waterfall. It’s called the Pond of God for a good reason, I’m sure. Maybe it’ll help keep my skin looking young?

If you could have roomed with anyone for this trip, which two ( 2 ) people would you pick and why? Staff, which other one ( 1 ) person?

I’m going to give the most predictable answer, but I’d room with Jaemin ( @vldjaemin ) and Juno ( @vldjuno ). If this is supposed to be a vacation, I think it’d be best if I get the calmer members so those not-so-calm ones can also enjoy their time without driving me a little crazy. You know who we’re talking about. He’ll be fine. ( @vldxion )

What was your favorite comeback?

“C’mon... I know that it’s easy to forget with my level of skill, but I actually haven’t debuted yet. But, speaking on behalf of KMG, my favorite comeback of 2019 was probably Run. By Particle, of course.”

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Papillion for sure. I'd collab with him because we have been friends since childhood and I genuinely enjoy his music. He is overall a great artist despite the way he portrays himself and is hard working

Despite being in white costumes, Kiwon could feel himself sweating through every layer. Although he should have known that would be the case, he had hoped the lights wouldn’t have been bright as they had been, and in the back of his skull he was certain he had messed up a few lines, which drove him absolutely mad despite likely to never speak of it. Then it would certainly be real.

Taking a cloth to dab his brow, the leader glanced behind him as the rest of the members began to filter backstage. They had done well, there was no denying that, and as always he was proud of them. While some of the guys went here and there to rest before the final song, Kiwon spotted Jae and offered a soft smile.

“You did well,” he complimented, nodding as he motioned to the maknae. “Definitely let them know you were there.”

Not that it was ever easy to miss him.

With Music Bank already two days behind them, Kiwon was more than happy to take a day off amidst the array of holiday activities that KMG had squeezed into their schedule. For the most part, the rest of the month was going to be relatively relaxed for HALF.LIFE, something they always knew to take advantage of for the future always seemed to be far more busy than the present.

Running a hand through his hair, Kiwon glanced at the younger man from his spot on the bench. He’d already pulled on one of his ice skates, and his fingers currently worked on threading the laces of the other foot. Although they were inside, there was still a chill from the rink, so much so that he began to wonder if he were going to need to wear his gloves while they went out there.

Almost out of instinct, he took the chapstick from his pocket and applied, nodding slowly before stowing it once more.

“Have you ever ice skated before?” He was almost certain they’d had the conversation before, but with some much going on—in one ear, out the other—he could have forgotten in but an hour or so’s time.
