In three days time I’ll be hurtling my body 26.2 miles across London in what some people would call voluntary torture! Yesterday I registered and received my number and tag so now all I need to do is wait! Mixed feelings but I’m prepared and ready There’s still time to donate, if you want to help me in supporting an amazing cause follow the link virginmoneygiving.com/david-gold
Here I go again!
Right, never finished my blog leading up to London Marathon 2016. Just all got mad busy. I did complete it but took a long time! I also completed the Reading Half marathon.
I was disappointed with both the times I completed them in, and why I don't know cos at the end of the day, I completed both.
And here I go again... So far I've signed up for the Reading Santa run, Reading Half Marathon and the London Marathon. Am thinking of signing up for the Thorpe Park Half, Dublin Marathon and the Great North run. Must be mad. However once I had finished the London this year I haven't done much running so reckon if I've signed up I'll have to train.
I have a treadmill in my dining room and have started training in earnest now. I am trying to get my fitness/stamina on this and will go outside for longer runs and come January will do most outside.
Going to try and keep this up to date and share my journey.
Oh yeah and I also managed to raise just over 4K for my charity so very happy.
