Ego renegade boy !
I love that Hatsune Miku is first and foremost a software program, and secondly a character. She doesn’t have original lore, she doesn’t have a background, all she has is blue pigtails. She can be whatever you want her to be, and therefore every version of her is canon. I think that should apply to way more characters in media.
Buy or pirate the software, make a song about punching bigots, doing kick flips or riding a bicycle while juggling chainsaws, draw a funny little version of Miku, upload it to YouTube or wherever the fuck you want, and you have successfully created new Miku lore that is canon now.
my own Teto and Neru headcanons!
Teto:
-19 years old
-162 cm tall
-chubby body build
-very silly nature, but is bad at facial expressions, leaving her face a no thoughts head empty-blank most of the time, which looks really funny.
-complete airhead and perpetually confused
-determined to become a great, popular singer, trains everday without fail.
-likes: bread, pastries, milk, singing, performing, baking (sucks at it tho, do NOT let her into that kitchen) , bright, neon colours, pop music, bunnies.
Neru:
-17 years old
-179 cm tall
-has crazy anger issues, gets annoyed extremely quickly even if its just by small things, takes everything way to seriously. Has lethal levels of resting bitch face.
-complete and utter tsundere
-a chunibyo at heart, super dramatic and over-the-top, her ego is over the roof and she's secretly a huge weeb and nerd (its not a secret everyone knows but she thinks shes good at hiding it).
-phone addict, still uses a Nokia (her case is covered in stickers, and she has a a beadedstrap attached to it).
-likes: retro technology, steak, fizzy drinks, running/racing, cats.
