I really needed a good reference for vocan, specially since I haven’t drawn him in a while, and with artfight being this month I finally had the motivation to do one
enjoy this bastard man
so back in 2012 I got a tattoo of vocan’s sword but it was very basic and simple and also not even the final design for his sword and now that it’s been a couple years it’s starting to look pretty faded and overall Bad™
so now I’m hoping I can a.) get it touched up and b.) significantly change the whole design to look like an actual piece of art instead of clip art pasted onto my skin lmao

big spoon/little spoon: Vocan is the big spoon but that’s only if he’s sleeping with just the one! When it’s all three, Vocan get’s to be the sandwich in the middle. Nelson hates it when he gets spooned though but not really, only a tiny bit.
favorite non-sexual activity: Tea time, at least for the twins. Otherwise it’s fun with trying to get everyone to go outside and teach Nelson to change and fix things on some cars. Gotta get down and dirty boy and he hates all of you. Nola on the other hand is just gonna go sit at the table with the umbrella and kinda suntan herself, not that Vocan is complaining.
who uses all the hot water: All of them. Nelson likes his nice clean warm showers as much as Nola but she has days where she has to shave some hair off umu, she’s sorry, VOCAN gets forced into the shower of hot water to make sure all the oil and smudge comes off and if he misses a spot, Nelson is going to kick his ass back in.
most trivial thing they fight over: Nelson will pick annnnything out to fight with Vocan just cause he dislikes him that much or pretends to do but he’s also used to not a loud snoring behemoth in his house tracking in dirt and smells and mess into his life more than usual. Nola does once she’s pregnant and it could be something that she accidentally does herself, like leaving out the sugar and blaming it on someone else on accident. She’ll apologize though. Vocan doesn’t really start anything, he just causes a lot for Nelson.
who does most of the cleaning: The twins do. Vocan does when it’s just Nola cause he’s not being yelled at to do anything, but that’s mostly listen to her talk as she hands him dishes to put away one by one or something simple. Nelson on the other hand will preen and clean everything that he doesn’t like the look of.
what has a season pass on their DVR/who controls the netflix queue: Vocan, didn’t use to watch TV other than that news till he came into their home, they didn’t even know what the fuck Netflix was, okay Nelson didn’t, Nola did. Damn your old 80′s movies you fucking gay lord. Quietly watches with.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: They take turns. Nola calls first, any problems, hand it to Nelson. Any problems after that they get Vocan to go meet the super/landlord and talk some sense into them and not threaten in anyway at all using his height and muscle mass.... :)
who steals the blankets: Nola, she is queen of the blankets, thank you. Nelson usually tries to be in control and pick them up like she doesn’t need them all the time, next thing you know she got Vocan to reach up and get her more. The queen wins.
who leaves their stuff around: Vocan & Nola with all their clothes and bathroom products and cups, thanks Vocan for making her kind of a slob with you. Tending them to mock Nelson whenever he does make a mess cause they both go, “ OOOOHHHH , NELSON MADE A MESS.” It’s that rare of a site and it just makes Nelson bitch face every time.
who remembers to buy the milk: Vocan actually. He may be an idiot that says no homo from time to time, he may be that idiot who forgets to put the seat back down in the morning, he may be that idio- okay yeah no he’ll remember or Nelson will have his ass even if he didn’t have to go get it.
who remembers anniversaries: Nelson right down to the time. He has issues. He won’t count his birthday till the right time but will celebrate Nola’s birthday all day even though they are twins? The things you do for love. But anything else he’s pretty okay with unless Vocan doesn’t get dressed up for special anniversaries. Vocan is good sometimes but sometimes he’ll be too busy with work or family drama.
who cooks normally?: All of them. Less so Nola but Vocan cooks his spicy food but little toned down for the others. Nelson always cooks a bunch of healthy but good foods. Nola just usually tries to make all kinds of different pastas and flavors.
how often do they fight?: ALOT. Thanks to Nelson wanting to have control and order and Vocan just rubbing him the wrong way. Nola joins in sometimes cause it wasn’t Vocan’s fault and you’re blaming him for nothing. Then all three of them go at it before they calm down and apologizing time to each other.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Vocan works on cars, Nelson works on business and making sure that everything is in order, Nola works on her fashion designs!
nicknames for each other?: Nola gets called Nollie by Vman, Nelson Nelly by Vman, Vocan gets called beast by Nelson, Vockie by Nola.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Nelson. He refuses to let Vocan pay out of many reasons. So they have a show down when it comes down to it. Nola just gets ready to go in the meantime.
who steals the covers at night?: No one. They usually get kicked off the bed thanks to three people trying to share a king sized bed. Usually Nelson wakes up to pull them back up but they just usually end up on the floor again.
what would they get each other for gifts?: All kinds of stuff. Nelson tries to be more practical items, Nola likes to give everyone clothes she’s made, Vocan just cute dumb looking things, throwing Nelson’s at him cause he refuses to take it.
who kissed who first?: Vocan kisses Nola first on their date and later they all talked about this poly shit and Vocan smooched Nelson forcibly almost a dip smooch with how much he bent away.
who made the first move?: Uh.. Vocan, kinda Nola with the whole come get me winku, as Vocan just okay gonna get get that but then ran into twin and a whooooole lot of problems.
who remembers things?: All of them but all different things, Nelson remembers all cept certain things he mixes up and Vocan is just YOU CANT GET ON MY ASS FOR SOMETHING YOU REMEMBER WRONG, Nola remembers appointments and times and colors and fabrics, Vocan remembers what to pick up at the store.
who started the relationship?: Vocan and Nola. Nothing clever to say here.
who cusses more?: Vocan, but Nelson gets his side that Vocan drags out a lot but mostly the twins try to be polite. Nola turns into a sailor when she’s pregnant though.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Vocan will genocide, but seriously if it was by someone I know he’d like to kill that person cause these are HIS. Emotionally just big paps and just yeah that sucks buddy. Nelson is always 911 or just therapist mode like he can help or fix the problem. Nola tries to make sure everyone and everything is okay and try to find out what to do unless the person asks for specific thing then nurse/mom mode.

A little eleven boy was quietly walking on down the field, seeming like he was talking to himself but in fact he was actually talking to his fairy friend. Chit chatting on how they are gonna go about next little adventure without many problems, maybe even get some things while they are out for the day. They needed more red potions and a bigger bag at some point.
Mikaelsmiled to himself when his fairy friend wanted to point out it will be his birthday sometime soon. He had something planned for himself even if it was just anything special, gotta enjoy the little things.
The boy stopped when he say a small chocolate not sure if he was friend or foe yet. He readied his dagger real quick but kept on walking. Faye smiled cause new friend but then it dropped when he readied his dagger and realized the other boy might be not okay.
She hovered on over to him quickly while Mikael tried to protest but she was already gone. “Faye nooooo…” He whimpered a bit before following, still cautious. “Heyyyy, are you okay?” The little pink fairy asked. She spun around him real quick to try and figure out if there really was or if she was just mistaken.
