Vogi (species information)

The Vogi are a barbaric race of carnivores who live on a planet entirely covered in tundra, which is why they have thick fur.
The only reason why the Vogi are even capable of space travel is due to an old alliance they used to have with another, more intelligent race known as the Askek a few centuries ago. However, the Vogi’s barbaric ways interfered with the alliance and now the two powerful races are at war with one another.
There is no difference between the males and females beyond genetalia, and they do not see any difference between the genders. Females are expected to fight just as fiercely as the males, even when pregnant. As for the offspring, they are born fully ready for combat, and only gain other features such as emotions and self awareness when they are a bit older, meaning that they are like animals at birth.
The Vogi are know throughout the galaxy as a race that goes after other races to enslave them, forcing them to work in the mines as well as hunting and tending to young, which the Vogi typically put very little time into. The only races they will ally with anymore are ones that can best them in battle.
There is no “King” Vogi, but rather a group of Vogi who work together to make decisions, which works surprisingly well, all things considered, due to the fact that they all share the same goal.
As for fur colouring, the fur isn’t too colourful- brown, black, grey, or white. Brown is the most common, and those with white fur tend to look pink due to the blood of their enemies and prey, much like flamingos.
They are about two and a half times the size of a grown adult male human.
