I saw a poll a while backing asking something about voice changes on T, and was kind of sad at how many transmascs said they hadn’t sung since starting testosterone. This is your call to use the instrument you have, and enjoy all of the body you’re in.
I’m going to be singing through some folk songs I know, one week per verse, as The Changes take hold.

It’s Shining Live’s 3rd anniversary in 11 days! Heres some info about the 3rd anniversary campaign and updates we’ll be seeing on the 28th of August.
1. New All UR Set:
Joining sets like Be My Partner and My Only Prince, we’re getting another All-UR setfeaturing the boys in parade themed outfits. The new set is titled ‘Love My Idol.’ We’ll be able to see the cards on the 28th.
2. Login Bonus:
From today (the 17th of August) to the 3rd anniversary there are 2 special login bonuses available. The first gives 5 prisms per day for a total of 55 prisms, and the second gives an 11-shot pass every day for up to 5 days.
3. Special Messages/videos:
Once per day, a special message/video will be uploaded to the official twitter accounts. To see them, you need to press the button and tweet about it. You can see Otoya’s here.
There will also be a new shining live tv commercial in Japan-only. The notice says there will be a ‘special campaign’ to coincide with this but thereis currently no further information.
4. Voice Log Update:
Following the maintenance on the 28th of August, each boy will have limited time voice lines celebrating the anniversary until he 4th of September.
An additional (?) four kinds of voice clips will be added for each idol. This information is rather vague, I dont know if it is in regards to the anniversary lines or if they are separate new lines.
Unlocked seasonal voice clips and conevrations will also now be able to be listened to in the voice log. This includes limited time lines.
Alexandra: It is Day 1 of Crew 348′s expedition and the time is currently 2200. It is late right now and the others have already gone to bed. The Borealis left us and many other crews on Planet SV-7827 many hours ago. Most of our day was spent building, taking stock and exploring. Tomorrow our true journey will begin.
Alexandra: I’m not sure if I want the planet’s many organisms to be as horrifying as the Plant FR-9348. But if it wasn’t... then what would be the point of being here.
Things are Happening, but idk if it’s at all evident to anyone who’s not me—most of it is I can feel my voice is resonating Differently. It also occurs to me maybe I should have pitched this higher, since my upper range is getting Weird first.
This is part of why I feel cranky when people talk about voice like it’s not a “real” instrument or like it doesn’t take skill to “play.” Most of us think of singing as “open mouth, make noise, try to be on pitch and hear if it’s not.” The amount of singing that is about physical resonance/soundwave sensation for me is HUGE like my experience with losing hearing in my left ear made me realize I don’t tune by sound, I tune by feel.
