Exciting News! I have signed on to be an associate producer for an upcoming reading at Theaterlab. The event will consist of a reading of five inmate-authored short plays from the award-winning playwriting program called Voices Inside at Northpoint, a medium security prison in Burgin, Kentucky.

Featured Playwrights: William A. Daniels, Jr.; John R. Hagan; Andrew Phillips; Calvin Sturgill & Derek Trumbo.

But the voices inside aren’t always that great to listen to. Your mind plays many tricks to fuck you up. These emotions that the mind gets to you isn’t a nice feeling to feel. You feel it on your chest, like a deep black hole digging in. The feeling on your entire body making you feel numb. It makes you feel completely awful. “What the fuck to think of next..” but you can’t even think of anything. The voices inside aren’t that well. They hurt and they enjoy it.

Voices in my head.

They scream, taunt and shout every horrible memory that I don't want to remember. But who am I to complain? They're the only ones who comfort me At the end of the day just like my demons.
