my opinion on :

character in general: I always talk about Lydia omg and there is so much to write. The summarized version is: she is very complex, I wish she was still a bitch like in season 1-2 because she is verbally and intellectually very strong and strength is not only measured physically, and though she is not one of my favourites she does hold a place in my heart.how they play them: I love this Lydia so much, easily one of my fave portrayals. I wish she sTUCK AROUND SOMETIMES :|the mun: Joey is a rolling stone and she must always bring her sweet lovin’ on home to me.

Jackson cuts himself off before he can finish the question. He could have wanted to ask, “Do you still love me?” or “Do you still hate me?” He could have even been trying to ask “Do you still want to hate me?” Jackson only wanted to know if her feelings were still there. He wanted to know if he was truly as worthless as he felt or if there was hope after all.

Jackson had been abused, exploited, and humiliated. His biggest insecurity — mental illness — had been taken, used against him, paraded, and turned him into a monster. He felt worthless and worn out. He felt like nothing. He felt that he could not be saved, and he did not want to be saved. 

Until Lydia reminded him that he might have a reason to live; he might be worth someone’s love. He just wanted to know if he still meant anything to her. They had been living a very materialistic lie during their relationship, and then he discovered in the scene in Season 2 Episode 5 Venomous that she actually did have genuine feelings for him. He wanted to know if he was still WORTH those feelings. If Lydia could love him even when he had nothing left, he must be worth something more. The light in Jackson’s eyes after she says she loves him is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen — he is in awe, almost disbelief. That feeling of worth is what triggered the healing process and helped him transform into his wolf. 

It is actually as sad and beautiful as it seems — Jackson’s dying wish was to be loved.
