Dell's poor thermal management system means their laptop doubles as a heating pad and comes in handy when you have period cramps but still need to write on the computer. send tweet.
Nothing puts an aching hole in your chest quite like watching your friends on Christmas receiving thoughtful gifts from their families that actually align with their interests, knowing your family doesn't give a shit, and hasn't for a really long time.
It's nice to be included in my friends' families' celebrations, and I really appreciate that they put the time and effort into getting me small gifts so I don't feel left out but there's still this overwhelming sense of being on the outside looking in. It's a sucking chest wound sometimes, to feel like I'm never going to have that sense of belongingness and family that the holidays are supposed to bring. It's why I don't celebrate them. It's why I fucking hate them. Even attempts to make them my own this year just feel fucking hollow and forced.
I hate it. I hate all of it.
The attendants smile, their milky eyes staring beyond what I can see. The only ATC is a murder of crows. Over and over again, the monitors flicker, my flight has changed gates again. Before, it was only a terminal over. One day, perhaps I too shall be one terminal over.
Tonight is just one of those nights where I want to drink myself into oblivion
i really? love?? the void???
