Void Star relationships!

Thought I would do some explanation on Void Star's relationship with the other Neo Beasts sooo here's a chart!

The one she's closet with is Saint Vanilla due to the relation to the stars and if he purifies cookies more cookies will be lonely. It's kind of a "they'll suffer like I am" in a way since she's limited to night terrors and causing bodily damage that isn't immediately fatal (aka the best way to scare family back home :))). Although she will admit that he is the only cookie who won't run in terror when she appears in their dream (or flinch in the case of the Neo Beasts, she IS the first to embrace the dark souls boss form so she's even unsettling to them). Here are some bonus drawings of them.

Also.... I dunno if I should add Bright Star in again. I might not... but I think Midnight Lily needs a bit more of a reason to hate Void Star besides gut feeling. What do yall think? Still developing some things with my horror here.

Reintroducing... Bright Star Cookie!

Bright Star in this rewrite isn't as directly involved in his dad's creepy cult thing. Despite being raised in it he feels as if they're doing something wrong in purifying cookies. He loved his parents but doesn't fully agree with their actions.

He doesn't go on missions a lot after allowing Strawberry Crepe to get away (he thought they looked cool and started to nerd out about Waffle Bots, Shadow Milk naturally ghost dropped kicked the child as he got reminded of a certain vanilla annoyance).

Holy Dart often looks over him and Cream Wafer thinks he's a disgrace and shouldn't be considered Saint Vanilla's protégé. (Cream Wafer still hates him in this rewrite lol). At least he doesn't have to go between two kingdoms in a custody agreement from hell.

As for how he got to the eldritch horrors... well...

A Flickering Star's Reason to Keep Shining

Anyways Wishing Star in my rewrite isn't stuck in the soul jam, however she has been kidnapped and forcibly awakened from her slumber 'taken in' by the Lambs of Penance due to her physical form having a connection to the beast Void Star. Celeste and Selene have no idea she's there while Wishing Star wishes to help her daughters before they suffer from her mistakes.

She hasn't left thought due to wanting to ensure Bright Star doesn't continue the cycle of those with a connection to the soul jam.

Bonus reference and chart with the other neo beasts! Since she has more of a voice she has an actual opinion on them and they have a (somewhat) differing opinion on her.

Neo Beast Lore

Within the dream realm:

Wishing Star never awoke from her sleeping state... so her beast would be a bit different. This is Void Star Cookie, the Beast of Loneliness. Her soul jam trapping her true self, the power of the soul jam manifested into this monster of a cookie.

The cookie haunts the nightmares of the cookies of Earthbread, one of her victims being poor Celeste (her horn). The injuries inflicted by Void Star in the dream realm affects cookies in the realm of the living. You crumble there, you crumble in real life.

Shadow Milk knows of her existence since he used to mess with her (Elder Faerie's spawn need trauma) and ran into her once. Yeah he never returned to the dream realm afterwards. Strawberry Crepe doesn't know why Shadow Milk hates sleeping so much.

In the Soul Jam:

Within the soul jam of Generosity lies the spirit of Wishing Star. Her soul wanting to return to the realm of living and her daughters. Strangely, a child was also trapped in the soul jam. She doesn't know how or why, but immediately started to care for the child. He calls himself Lemon Yogurt.

Maybe he can help her escape this hell...

Soooo Celeste isn't doing great. Yeah the scar she got from the encounter with Void Star has gotten worse and is slowly consuming her. The trio must now hope that the republic can get to them before something horrible happens.

Here's a little description of Celeste's condition:

The plague has been seemingly caused by the Soul Jam of Generosity becoming overly corrupted. This idea was inspired by Jellywalkers.

Btw I am planning a rewrite of Void Star (the relationship chart will still matter don't worry). However Wishing Star will not be having a fun time.
