ive been thinking about this for a while now , but i need to come up with some other terms for some of my 'forms' .
darkness / void is our core , and i dont really consider it a 'form' . if we want to refer to it as a 'form' , its basically the 'base' or 'default' form . but its our core , that doesnt need a new term .
demon is our main physical form . not much more to it than that , i guess .
cat , night fury , and bearded vulture are our other physical forms , cat also being our demon animal . calling these 'forms' fits . they are all their own full separate physical forms .
now the ones that i feel need different terms .
cryptid and clown/jester are technically not full forms . they are not their own separate physical forms .
the cryptid is very much fully dependent on my core and the way it behaves and shapes itself at times .
the clown/jester is basically an 'extension' or 'addition' to any of our other physical forms . other forms (mostly demon usually) having a clown/jester like appearance and behavior , of course it comes with some extra quirks , but thats basically what it is .
so calling these two 'forms' just doesnt feel correct , perhaps 'semi / demi forms' , but im not sure .
and then we have the wolf and crow . these are their own separate physical forms , just like cat / night fury / vulture . the only difference is that i dont feel the same connection to these , as i do to the others .
they are less "this is me" and more "i like being this / i feel like this sometimes / i have a connection to this so i want to be part of it" type of thing . im not sure exactly how else to explain it , but thats the closest and easiest explanation ?
yes , they are forms , but i feel like they need a slightly different term simply because i dont feel the same connection to them ? i'm really not sure what to use here , though . keeping 'form' and adding something that means its less ... me ? would work ? but i have no idea what .
