it occurs to me that i should probably make one of these, so here it is!! hi, im Maeve! im working with my friend Amy to develop a video game! (Amy doesn't use tumblr but she does have an itch.io! check her out at https://ameliarate.itch.io/ ) the game will be a tactics RPG/Persona clone entitled VoidBeasts (hence the name of the blog) where you play as Venn, a 26-year-old nonbinary anthropomorphic cat who's trying to unionize their workplace while also dealing with a vast and bizarre conspiracy involving supernatural forces and the potential unravelling of reality itself! the average VoidBeasts playthrough will involve:

working at a warehouse for an online delivery company

making friends with your coworkers

exploring strange alternate dimensions

fighting against an army of sinister machines

making friends with otherworldly entities (the titular VoidBeasts!)

making tasty meals to share with your comrades

witnessing horrors beyond mortal comprehension

negotiating with egotistical bosses

coping with existential dread (from all the strange alternate dimensions you've been exploring)

dealing with the sudden and tragic loss of... nah i wont spoil that yet hehehe

and maybe eventually... saving the world!??

anyway if you're interested in a game like that, follow this blog for development updates!! there might even be a kickstarter in the future, who knows!! (preferably once we've actually built the foundation of the game and made a demo!)
