“ Hey Kuma-kun! Heard it's your birthday! I hope I'm not late! I...genuinely don't know what you would want for your birthday... So I made you a sweet who people in Brazil usually have on their birthdays, which it is named Brigadeiro* and I also did a mini birthday cake. And here's two plushies of yourself! It took a while and I didn't know what would you rather but... I hope you like it! „

* Hoshimi puts both gifts somewhere safe and hugs Teddie really tight *

*Brigadeiro--is made out of sweet condensed milk and chocolate, it is usually made and given on birthdays

"Wowie! I don't know what to look at first!" His head is rapidly turning between the lunchbox and the two plushies. All of which came after a long, happy squeal.

"You're beary talented, Shi-chan. You might even make Kanji jealous." Both toys will be given loving hugs. And any sweet will definitely be eaten tonight. No dessert given to him for his birthday survived more than two days at most. Now that the others have been consumed, these will surely fall.

"One question, though. What's a Brazil...?" Sounded like a location. Maybe it was close enough to visit for more dessert?

A long little fluffy creature was exploring around the usual area before eyes caught sight of a lost individual, he began to approach but remained wary of them as they didn’t look familiar, he tries to sniff to see if they had any ink on them.

“…nbiiii..?”

A little shrill escaped, he stayed hidden in the tree leaves as only his eyes could be noticed.

* A girl is walking through the streets on a clear day, nothing much different from what is normal, tho she looks somehow confused, as if she was bewildered because she is somewhere they doesn't know and wasn't supposely to be *

Today was a happy day for Teddie. He was so cheerful, in fact, that he was skipping through the main shopping district. He didn't mind what anyone else might think of him, what mattered was his joy over such a clear day. And what else could bring him even more joy than seeing a new person in town! His friends told him that tourists visit sometimes. Could she be one, too? Or only new in town?

"Hello, miss! You look like you could need a helpful bear around. Ne-bear fear! I know a lot about this town. I've been leaving here for months!" Teddie flashed one of his cutest smiles as he walked up to the stranger. Who could say no to this fluffy face?

Word of advice, the truth is just a point of view. Also, human brains tend to unconsciously distort their own memories be it making a bit different from what it is! Plus, everyone has a different truth for one specific thing!

Each time you recall an event, your brain actively pieces it together using the original trace, current beliefs, and newer information. This makes recollections highly susceptible to distortion, suggestion, and the creation of false memories!

The only truth there is is...that we all will die someday! The rest is only what we see and experience, who can be different on the opinion of others.

Send “Word of advice...” and tell my muse some advice!

“My friends and I already found the truth once. That means it’s real and we can find it again!” He's heard unkind words like these multiple times before. From Izanami, Ame-no-sagiri, and from his own shadow. Teddie was ready for them, and responded with an annoyed growl.

“I know I don’t know a lot of things. My brain can get all loud and fuzzy, I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff, too.” He'll give them that, at least. Teddie didn't understand some of the words they said in the middle. His understanding of a lot of science-y topics was still new. Regardless, though, he wasn't changing his mind. That was word soup to him. “But that only means I have to try even harder now! And I’ll keep trying for as long as I can.”

“So you can stop being such a Negative Nancy!” At the end, a little pout.

"!" Shuichi lets out a soft noise in surprise when Hoshimi goes to hold his hand. He knows it's just hand holding, but it still makes him a little flustered...!

"A-Ahaha, if it's Hoshimi-san, then I guess this is fine...! Sorry, I'm just not um, used to this, I-I suppose..."

* Hoshimi appears with a...box...? it looks like some lunchboxes wrapped on paper and with a bow with the scent of food, tho it seems a bit too overspiced and different from the usual foods on Japan *

" Hi Ryuji-san! I heard your birthday is near so... I think a good gift would be food. I did some things from where I lived a bit of my life on with the things we have here... most are corn-based so I hope you don't mind them... It's some Tapioca* I tried to do, Cuscuz* and Canjica*... and since it's your birthday, it's a bit of tradition having Brigadeiro... and the people from here tend to say they are overspiced, so I hope you think it's fine- "

This is a bit on the foods I mentioned if you're curious:

*Tapioca--made of cassava starch as some kind of crepe in the form of an taco(?) with some fillings, it is made on a cultural and seasonal festival that happens on june and july

*Cuscuz--is made of dehydrated and rehydrated corn flour, it's good to eat with things alongside it, like honey, cheese, eggs, etc.

*Canjica--is made by white corn and looks like a sweet soup made out of milk, coconut milk, condensed milk, sugar and some spices, it is usually made seasonally to a festival that happens on june and july made in honor of Saint John

*Brigadeiro--is made out of sweet condensed milk and chocolate, it is usually made and given on birthdays

Seeing Hoshimi standing before him with a box in their hands and an unfamiliar (although still quite pleasant!) smell coming from it - Ryuji's interest was almost immediately piqued as he wondered what might be inside of it.

"Whoa, so you made a box with foods from all the different places you've been? Heh, that's totally really creative!" As they began listing of all of the various different items, Ryuji found himself glancing down at each of them - one after the other.  No doubt, they were different from anything he'd ever seen before in Japan but, hey…! Different didn't mean bad and he had always been curious about other cultures - especially their food! Not to mention the brigadeiro especially looked tasty - and the fact that it was a traditional birthday dessert? Incredibly cool and fitting too!

"Well, I've never been one to shy away from spice and I'm totally excited to try this birthday dessert of yours!" He beams, now holding onto the box. "What d'you say to trying this with me...? We can have us a little picnic and you can tell me all about it!"
