Our sleepless eyes meet and there’s a flickering between Summer and Winter.

Poet, I don’t know you very well but I see the moonlight on your hands, you bleed the same way I do.

Pencil to paper, blade to skin, dirty hands shovel at the ground.

We dig graves for the poems we can’t force from our tongues.

Bury your words here, I'll water them every day until they bloom.
