The great scalar echoes:
Long ago, during the creation of the Edificial Complex (the skeletal structure that forms the very basis of the infantile Library (so said to be the first true structure, the foundations upon which the majority of the visible Library are built)) a great seal was produced, allowing the containation of knowledge within the rebar and brick of the Complex. During the production of the great seal, which carries on it the inscription “Count thyselves all which who perceive, for thy knowledge shan’t exit without our leave. Your understanding and data, which you bring to us, shall stay with us always, while you turn to dust”, both moulds and anvils were used to shape the seal to perfection, the preservation of which has also retained professed contempt from those without the library, and utter respect from those within.
Upon the final strike of the anvil, the seal was completed, and the vibrations of the great strike worked out to the greater edges of the physical plane. While at first a source of great disturbances, these vibrational patterns eventually fulfilled a use for the condemned record-keepers below the masoned slabs of the Nth wing of the Edificial Complex. Upon completion of the first’ vibration’s journey (which took time ½Z) , a collision with a grand wall was theorised, for after Z had passed, an echo returned itself to the library, and was felt by all with a strong connection to the physical plane (such as those of the species ≫ for they had great tendrils and organic machines). These echoes have proved themselves to be scalar, and have returned in regular incremental Zs. Through their great, eternal, unending wisdom, the condemned record-keepers ordained such echoes as The Great Scalar Echoes, and have since used these as powerful chronotic augmentions.
This log compiled from the knowledge of All Who Dwell, who have graciously and willingly relinquished fruitful and succesory lives in service of data-seeking for the condemned record-keepers.
