The large human titan laughed as he looked at Taasi, he motioned towards her and said. “You do not, you are skin and bones no meat on you!” He had a playful grin on his face clearly as he motioned towards the food vendor and said. “Get somethin, it my treat if you like little rabbit“ His little name he had given her after Appolyon and Gustav had more or less taken her into the fireteam so to speak. He faced her and did a slight flexing pose and said with a laugh. “You wish to be big and strong like titan dah?” Those hazel green eyes of his had a playful flicker to them as he waited to see just how she’d handle his teasing.

“the  asari  seem  ancient  to  me,  to  most  humans,  really,”  she  confesses  with  a  small  laugh,  “but  they  all  seem  to  know  how  old  they  are,  can  pinpoint  it  to  a  least  a  few  decades,  so  i’m guessing  that  makes  you  older.”  how  strange,  shepard  thinks,  to  have  lost  something  as  personal,  as  intricate,  as  one’s  own  age.  no  matter  how  adrift  she  had  ever  felt,  there  had  always  been  at  least  some  sense  of  self,  of  her place  in  things. "how  much  do  you  remember  of...before?”

laying on the ground , she felt as if her body had been crushed by a boulder . the crucible was not meant for the weakest of guardians , but that`s why she has chosen to partake in such things . sarah had every intentions to prove to herself that she was a strong hunter , but being shoulder charged and knocked to the ground was not how she wanted things to go . cobalt hues looked up to her fellow guardian and she began to carefully push herself up off the ground . the help from others is always nice , but she can`t rely on her fireteam for everything .

they hadn’t seen it coming. no one thought a cabal legion would dare knock on the front door, the traveler a warning sign to those on the outside :  ENTER AT OWN RISK .  but the rockets and bombs struck the tower, shaking it. everything happened quickly and the hunter was briefly thrown from her balance, reaching for the wall. frantic eyes scanned the area, trying to see who might be near. a second blast hits and she’s thrown forward down the hall towards the tower courtyard.

scrambling to her feet, she rushes forward, pieces of rubble falling from the ceiling. turning a corner jackie runs right into someone and for a split second she’s prepared to fight before realizing it’s a fellow guardian.  “ what’s going on? ”  she asks, barely waiting for a reply before drawing her last word and heading for the main courtyard. it’s chaos, guardians running to posts, a few even leaping from the tower to reach the city below. she’s about to speak again when her gaze finally falls onto the traveler before them. a cage has been placed, cabal ships cover the sky above the last city.  “ how--- what---- ”  for the first time, jackie is truly left speechless.     ( @voidstvlker​ )

“HAPPY DAWNING GUARDIAN!!”  The small guardianless ghost yelled circling around the hunter. “It’s my favorite part of the year!! Snow is falling and its to bake!! What are you gonna make first this year?”

Apparently being stuck in a sniper’s nest was cause enough for small talk, not that she minded, something to break up the silence here and there kept her sane. Lounging against a nearby wall and stretching out until her joints popped pleasantly, she glanced upwards to where puffy clouds shifted into various animals and expressions.

❝ Seriously though, I like it here, the EDZ must’ve been a real sight back in the golden age. Glad the trees and birds are as stubborn as they are, it sounds silly but...lookin’ at somewhere like Nessus, could’ve been a whole lot worse. ❞

You can only use one weapon for the rest of your life-- what weapon do you choose?

She tilts her head and thinks about it for a moment, going through her arsenal in her mind.

"Its a bit of a tough choice... But if I had to only have one weapon for the rest of my life.. To be honest, it would be a masterworked Bastion fusion rifle. I like the kick it has and how well it takes down my opponents; granted it takes a bit to get the shot fired, but its well worth the wait to me."

She tilts her head for a moment the other way, giving a soft smile.

"Well, either that, Steelfeather Repeater, or Riskrunner. One of those three," She gives a wink, "Masterworked, of course"

So what if she’d asked for help? These rocks were perilous and, immortal or not, she wasn’t exactly keen on the idea of climbing all the way back up if she fell. The offered hand and helping arms carrying her had been at least a minute ago, bleeding into several as the awoken was still holding her, causing Fable’s nose to wrinkle with an impatient scowl.
