I have a pair of questions, you can answer if you like Dusknoir
First is do you like Pinap Berries on bread with tamato berry sauce and cheese
Second is what is it like going after Grovyle, any interesting tactics you used in your search that you learned before.
But life is a series of opportunities, isn't it?
As for Grovyle, I have found some rather unexpected help in the form of two young and very gifted explorers from Wigglytuff's Guild. To use the power of the Dimensional Scream to track his course of action... heh. I believe we can all agree it's a welcome surprise that's shortened our chase drastically 0)
Color me curious, from a while away and wanted to know what services can you do. Get the sense you work for credit?
“Instead of asking what I can do, you’d be better off telling me what you want. Then maybe we’ll see if we can do biz.”

Getting the sense that other askers keep asking questions based onSalmonids as less than inklings/octolings I am guessing?
Sometimes I get them, I’ve had a few instances where I had to privately tell people that I did NOT like their headcanon, as it leaned heavily into the idea that Salmonids could be pets. After I confronted one person about it they informed me that apparently other users have told them to not make Salmonids intelligent (despite the game hammering it in that YES, they are smart, how else can they DRIVE a CAR).
I STILL see people making Salmonid “pets,” treating them like “dogs,” and even people considering Little Buddy a pet, rather than a partner. They are not dogs. They are people. They just don’t look like a conventionally attractive human.
Also I see a painful number of people make “Salmonlings” that apparently hate their people for like, no reason other than “oooh I’m a pretty human therefore the rest of my kind are uncouth beasts” even though, even from an evolutionary standpoint, it’d be impossible to jump from fish face to human face in one generation.
(Hi I’m Mod Stinky and I have Opinions™)
Since they’re not human-like and don’t talk to us, it’s easy to consider them “lesser” or “dumb animals.” Couldn’t be further from the truth.
idk man it’s just a little bit frustrating, you know? The last time I asked for headcanons I got some that were like that and it put a sour taste in my mouth, so I may as well be completely direct in my stance about that sort of thing.
Hmm, wonder if the name of the mammalians in the title name are a hint to how they are born/made?
I have no clue and I have no theories because we know nothing, and frankly the content kinda... Bothers me?
Ironic, I know, coming from @chimeralabcharybdis mod Stinky herself but like, I dunno, it's weird. It just doesn't work for me and it's entirely out of left field. At least I'm aware that my dumb AU lore is stupid and edgy, lol.
Also if you're thinking that the fuzzy Octarians are "born" like a mammal, I don't think that's the case, because the trailer does at least show that coming in contact with the moldy ink makes you fuzzy (and probably kills you). So they're probably made with said moldy ink, or exposed to it to change their makeup.
Otherwise? Heck if I know lol. Splatoon is really going off the wall with this one.
Captian, I remember seeing your old ask blogs when I was younger and you were my branch into horror and investigating Fanfics(mainly any Pokémon ones)
While I am not sure if you will hear me in the void of your ask box but you are an awesome creator and all I can say is ‘HERE HERE TO SPARKLING! HERE HERE!’
i’m glad my work has had such an impact! thank you for sticking around after all this time, and thank you for the kind words! <3
Good to see Gulpin returning as a Move Shop owner. Nice on them for expanding their enterprise.
Yeah! They’re following in the footsteps of Kecleon, it seems. I’m so sorry but this video has haunted me ever since I first saw it.
Real talk for a second though: I feel like, on the whole, a lot of the NPC replacements for this randomizer have worked quite well. Sure, there’s some silly ones, like Deoxys for Spoink. But Rotom as Spinda is amazing, and I can totally see Blastoise acting all motherly like Kangaskhan. I just think it’s neat one of the shopkeepers happened to carry on the torch from Rescue Team!
Oh no, I was focusing my eye on Scylla. But what other scientists and/or others are with Scylla or at least help… acquire new subjects
I admit I haven't made too many NPCs--I really should make more. I put a lot more focus on Scylla herself, as well as Jellsica, who are the most important characters in regards to the story itself. I just haven't put much thought into side characters, aside from them being present, and doing things in the background.
But one in particular is a "nurse" in Inkopolis. He found out about Agent 3's condition, how he was being sanitized over time, and needed a cure, and fast, because he was quite literally losing himself and his mind. He stole 3's contact info, and Scylla was able to get into contact from there.
She can make calls, because her voice is presentable enough, and if you don't see her face (and grin) while talking to her, she almost sounds... Quite nice, if not a hair offputting.
I should also probably make the scientist that helped Scylla mutate herself, as there are some things she simply can't do alone. Fun fact: for surgeries she couldn't perform on herself, she was sedated for pain, but fully awake so she could more or less guide the other scientist through. It's a pretty big "trust" thing, so it'd have to be someone super close to Scylla, enough that she would be confident enough that they wouldn't kill her during the procedure lol
