the vibe you give off is very friendly and welcoming, I didn't feel anxious at all even when I followed you for the first time on a different blog two years ago!
what kind of vibe do I give off??
Okay first of all the fact that someone has been following me for that long absolutely shocks and astounds me???? Goodness gracious how I haven’t annoyed you to death I do not know, but thank you very very much! I’m very glad to hear that you felt comfortable with me! That is definitely a goal of mine lol. I just want everyone to be comfortable. 💗
voidwalkcr replied to your photo “@shattered-catalyst WELL IF YOU SAY SO Context: The Setite vampires...”
yooooo that's really good! the anatomy is great! very realistic looking boobs, most people don't do it right with curvy/fat women
Aw, thank you! Yeah, boobs definitely have, like, weight, and that’s more apparent the bigger they get, which as you point out most people ignore in art. I tried to sort of have them in different positions because they can be squished around real easily by different bra styles (which is another thing a lot of artists don’t seem to realize, they’re soft not hard) Like they’re very much pushed up on the one on the right because of her top, and more naturally hanging with the left one, and kinda midway with the middle one? Also re the other comment, I don’t think that’s weird at all! It bugs me a lot too when I see breasts drawn as basically big globes XD
👌 but like, respectfully because "bang" feels way too aggressive
send 👌 if your muse would bang mine || Accepting || @voidwalkcr
Hoorah for gently and respectfully banging your signif!
meta: Braig's relationship with Nihrik, and if their relationship has affected who Braig is as a person at all
send me a topic to write a meta about my muse on || always accepting
So, I’ll tell you right now, everyone who Braig has met has had an impact on him. Every single person. But, Nihrik especially? He had a pretty huge positive influence on the kiddo. Let us break it down:
BABY BRAIG loved his tall cat friend. People cuddling Baby Braig so much is one of the reasons he’s so affectionate and snuggly today. And, as we all know, Nihrik was very good at cuddling this boy. He came to visit the baby a lot. It really added to that snugglebug.
INITIATE/LITTLE KID BRAIG was at a rough point in his life. He felt really unwanted and alone. More than that, he felt broken. He’d asked so many people to train him, and everyone had said no, so… The problem had to be him, right? He thought so. He just… Really needed a friend, and Nihrik came through in spades. That little stuffed cat thing he gave Braig helped a lot on anxiety-fueled nights. Having someone to check in on him would’ve helped his mental state a lot. Cat Uncle’s stories would get his mind off things. I mean, it’s still a rough time for him, but this helped. Again, he needed a friend. He got one.
PADAWAN BRAIG still has the kitty Nihrik gave him. He also still has self-esteem issues in spades. And, again, Nihrik helps with that. The fact that he seems to care so much is wonderful. His stories are fascinating. Braig only ever uses the bone pen Nihrik gave him for the most /important/ journal entries, and never takes it on missions, since it’s too important. Listening to Nihrik describe how people perceived the Force centuries ago honestly inspires this kid to look into how he relates to it, today. I imagine that sort of introspection was a huge positive influence on Braig’s capability as a healer. And, that strange rock Nihrik gave him for- That was a Life Day gift, if I remember right? That also piqued his interest enough for more research, thus leading to more questions, sure, but also a more nuanced understanding of the Force. Same with how Nihrik and his species use the Force to sustain themselves - just opened him up to so many new things that the Force can do. Even for a Jedi, there are so many secrets and mysteries about all of it, and it’s fascinating for him. I will say that Nihrik’s protective streak when it comes to Braig, as well as his ‘you could literally murder a man in front of me and I would assume it was the dead guy’s fault’ attitude towards the kiddo, definitely fueled Braig’s ‘devil-may-care-I-can-do-anything’ kick. Whether that’s good or bad depends on your view of things (a certain point of view). On one hand, it’s good, because it drives him to push himself in training, inspires confidence in himself, and motivates him to stand against injustice. It’s also what helps him keep going on more than just autopilot during the Grau Tessk incident, and pushes him to join the Rebellion. On the other hand, this child needs to learn how to chill out, stop pushing himself that hard, and to not fight things that could Definitely Kill Him, and bolstering that tiny… It’s not a god complex, because he’s aware he can die and absolutely does not see himself as being above other people. But it’s certainly something, and that is gonna get him in trouble, one of these days. (And this is not just Nihrik’s fault; A lot of grown-ups and even some other kids have added to whatever complex Braiggo’s got brewing.) And, of course, Nihrik introduced Braig to Rehyval, however inadvertently, which lead to Braig learning to speak/read/write Ancient Chaulis. And Nihrik’s eventual death, where Braig gives Rehy his brother’s saber… That makes him think. It’s the first time he’s had to deliver news like that, and especially the first time he’s had to deliver it to a family member, and it shakes him up. It’s a confrontation with mortality on a different setting/scale than he’s normally had, and, yeah, it makes him think. Doesn’t really change his perspective too much - he’s always thought death and war was bad - but it did give him pause. He was quiet for a while after that. He never really forgets Nihrik, either. He was a great uncle, a great person, and a phenomenal Jedi.

“oi, mate, why ain’ you dressin’ like that, again?” bellanthe asks absentmindedly, chewing on a long stalk of grass between her teeth. "improvement on the current get-up." says the girl who dresses like a thirteen-year-old basset hound in the dark every single day.
