@voiicefound sent : 💔 Have you ever been jealous of a ship, group, plot, that wasn’t yours?
Not really-- I’m a really chill person when it comes to that kind of stuff. I’m more into appreciating what I do have over what I don’t ?? And like if there’s a plot or something I want, I’ll just work on creating my own.
When it comes to ships and groups I feel like I already have the very best anyone could ask for as it is. Like I’m grateful on the daily for all the connect- ions and friends and ships I’ve made on this blog !

At the moment it’s hands down that Henry definitely has Ezekiel’s fondness for the arts, particularly theater. He can recite Shakespeare, not as well as Ezekiel but with just as much passion, and he was involved with the choir at Kingdom.

With a laugh, Grave-Robber rubbed at her shoulders, amused at her pleas and plight. ❝ And what is it you’ve come to me for? Zydrate’s not cheap, and I don’t really clothe and house lost orphans. ❞ If the girl had parents, he wondered why they’d let her out and alone. Most of the girls milling around them were orphaned or runaways and had turned to a reliable source of income and trade for what they wanted and needed. Including the glowing blue vial in his pocket.
😳 Do you believe that if the muse is bad, the mun is bad as well?
Absolutely not. It’s a very important concept to be able to keep mun and muse separate, so even if our muses hate one another I’m not gonna dislike the mun over it, that’s some petty shit right there.
I have however run into the issue where people take issue with my muse disliking theirs. Which does create a bit of a problem because I think every character has characters in their fandom they’re just never going to get along with for one way or another and I really wish people wouldn’t take it as a personal attack when our muses don’t get along.
Okay byt @voiicefound and I’s modern verse is officially my new favorite thing
Lydia: Chaotic adopted child with meth dealing uncle who’s usually ‘just got out of jail’ when you see him and ex cop adopted dad who sent uncle to prison each of those times. Got scholarship to nice DC private school for drawing
Henry: Good adopted child with parents who have a wine collection. At said private school because his family can afford it. Ballet dancer. Straight As. Good boy. #DAREgraduate.
Henry and Lydia together: Chatoic nightmare. FRantically hiding how drunk Lydia is at the house party Carol and Ezekiel are throwing. Definitely sneaking out to cause trouble. A dead fish ended up in Henry’s room and both feign innocence.

HONESTLY and it’s easy to forget sometimes because it was SO long ago and there have been SO many other, significant deaths. but it’s funny, i was rewatching the second season recently and that comment ( help my sick brain i can’t remember WHO made it-- glenn i believe ) about sophia being special or different from the others they’d lost before. how MUCH it impacted the group and how much it meant to all of them to find her. how her death, even, kind of nailed in the reality of ‘it can really happen to US, this can tear our families apart’.
fast-forward to current day and look how easy it is to let her slip out of our minds. how we can REMEMBER her as soon as we think about it, but-- we really have to think about it. if you ask any fan which deaths impacted the show/characters the most-- very few people would bring up sophia. but for me, for the reasons above, i think her death is STILL one of the most significant. it set the group into a different mindset. it was the first one to really cement in that the world wasn’t going to be FAIR or cut them any breaks.
but also i get why, out of all the people carol has ‘mothered’ over the seasons, henry is also VERY significant. not because he was actually there longer than any of the others but because he SURVIVED longer than any of the others. he went into some dangerous situations, was thought to be lost AT LEAST once, and he always came back. carol’s defenses went up after she lost sophia BECAUSE she couldn’t stand the heartache of trusting just to lose again. she didn’t WANT to love henry or believe he’d be okay or trust in him surviving because she knew ( because this world IS NOT fair, as they learned with sophia’s death ) there is always going to be that chance he can be taken away.
but she ended up loving him like a son anyway. she ended up BELIEVING again for the first time probably SINCE sophia that she could have a life and a family and be happy and safe again.
and then he’s killed just like that. so, in a lot of ways, henry was VERY much sophia the second in regards to carol’s ability to BELIEVE in a future and letting her guard down and trusting in others to be able to take care of themselves. i also think that’s why ( more than just losing Another kid ) henry’s death sent her into the spiral we’re seeing now. of doing things on her own no matter what anyone else says. at least currently, i think carol really believes she IS on her own, or will be given enough time. she might even be pushing daryl away BECAUSE she doesn’t want to suffer losing him when his time comes. i think she’s regressing in her way of thinking. that she’s focusing only on the inevitable outcomes of what might/is likely to happen and not giving any of herself to the moment; enjoying her loved ones while she has them. she’s starting to see all in black and white again.
anyway that got real long and i’m sure it’s something A LOT of other people have noticed/commented on but yeah, sophia’s loss will ALWAYS be the one that really cemented the concept OF loss into the group.

I seriously love how fiercely protective you are of Lydia. I can tell how much love you have for her by how passionate you are about her (and god knows she needs that!)
We don’t get the chance to talk much, but you always seem like a really bright and fun presence on my dash. And even though you aren’t Daryl’s biggest fan right now lol I do hope we manage to get a story going someday :)
