♟—-Realizing that Taka had noticed his daydreaming, Dedric averted his gaze and cleared his throat. A light dust of rose painting his cheeks as he glanced back to see where Penny had gone off to. He suppressed a chuckle. the Munna had snuggled closely into the warm fur, looking more than happy. Penny always tended to rest anywhere and on anything/ anyone she found comfortable. He hoped Prince did not mind the interaction.

    Oh dear, his mind had wandered off a bit!  "A-ah…미안 . I’ll be more attentive next time. “He tended to be a bit slow with new games, but it was true, all he needed was more practice. He looked a bit shocked and defeated as he gathered the pile. He hoped he wasn’t a burden…

    He was silent for a moment, evaluating a proper answer. It seemed he struggled with it as he began softly, “I don’t know, there’s a lot I’d wish for, really. I…feel a bit selfish now that I step back and look at it. But we all want something, don’t we?” He tilted his head marginally, “Though, to sum things up, I guess I’d wish I could fix some mistakes I’ve made. The really horrible and reckless ones, at least…And maybe  a lifetime supply of Shin ramyun, I’d probably wish for that too.”

    He’s made so many mistakes in his lifetime and he’s bound to make more. Even worse, he doesn’t seem to learn from these mishaps. Truthfully, he did not quite grasp what a spatial ball of gas can do about his wishes. Wishing on a star was one thing, but taking action was another. But in no way was he against wishing- he thought it was an endearingly healthy habit. Dedric blinked and looked back at her. “What about you? What’re you going to wish for? ” He piped up quickly, hoping he hadn’t sounded pushy, “Only if you’re comfortable tellin’ me, though. I don’t wanna force ya’ or anythin’.”

    He drew another card from the pile, watching it closely this time. It was a five of Spades. He believed that in some ways, she did fit in for one of his old wishes and for that alone he was grateful. The grunt glanced at her…When would she leave him as they all did? When would she finally turn her back against his toxicity to save herself? He didn’t want her to leave…Ah, but leaving was her choice, not his. What right did he have to stop her if she wanted to? Dedric had known her for quite the time now and no one would expect her to be the type of person. Though he knew that personality didn’t matter when it came to him. Friendly or not, connections change.

    Dedric still wondered what he was to her. Such a thing was difficult for him to decipher. Were they on the same page or was she a chapter behind on how much her companionship meant to him? He did not want be clingy in the sense that he constantly needed someone beside him. He didn’t want to make it seem as if he was complaining either- he wasn’t one for shameless whining. And pity was the last thing he needed. But he knew that he would feel as if he was missing something crucial if she left him. It’s true that he’d already exposed himself in more depth than he would normally be comfortable with.

    But who knew how much more she could take before it was enough? Dedric fell silent again.

⊰°˖❀⋰Takako was mostly concentrated on trying to make sure the male was able to keep up with the game at first, she correcting when needed. Once she was convinced he'd be okay at playing without any assistance, Tiny hands could be seen either lightly patting at his, but then she paused, when he seriously began to talk about his wish. She lightly giggled toward the end of his wish, having not expected the lifetime supply of Shin raymun. She paused to think of the rest of what he said, shaking her head slightly. 

❝I-I don't think it's selfish a-at all, Dedric...❞ she began, monitoring the game as she spoke,❝ Y-you know, I think we all have things we want to fix, so it's o-only normal for you to want to wish that for yourself...but whatever it may be, don't y-you think it's really good t-that you now want to change those things?❞ Takako paused, her face flushing, maybe she wan't quite making sense,❝ Uwah...I-I mean, doesn't t-that make you a better person since y-you've realized that those things should have been different ? Um I-I just f-forgive me if I'm o-overstepping---❞ 

She now shifted awkwardly, maybe she didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about. Taka flustered herself and shut herself up, hands coming up to her pink cheeks. He then asked about her wish. It took the tiny ravenette several moments. She always had a wish prepared but since this was so spontaneous, she hadn't taken the moment to think of the wish. Onyx colored eyes looked up at the ground and traveled to the sky until they landed back on him. Having no clue just how much she meant to him, or the kind of effect she might have on him, when she spoke the next words, she thought nothing of it. A large grin appeared on her peachy lips and she winked toward him. 

❝W-Who says I don't everything I-I've wished for with me tonight already? I-I get to spend the evening with you, don't I ?❞ 

The poor girl was oblivious what she just said, she simply jesting with him. Quietly she watched as he fell silent, had she said something wrong? Taka jumped slightly, leaning in closer to him, a hand still resting on his. Her mind tried to go over the words she had just spoken, she trying to figure out what could have made the male fall silent. 

❝ D-dedric, a-are you okay? Did I-I say something wrong o-or...a-are you sleepy? I-I know it's late, but I p-promise the meteor shower will come soon. I-It's really worth it, r-right Prince ?❞ 

At this point a snort could be heard from the canine, the atmosphere was getting a little too cheesy for his taste.
