hey. hey nick. I'd like a detailed analysis on the two syaorans' kicking styles from that big splash page. please and thank you (also none of us are prepared to watch you be this not prepared)

I’m no expert when it comes to fighting styles BUT The Syaoran on the right is using the same style Syaoran has used throughout the manga so far (ie, huge swinging kicks with little use of the arms). So, AutoPilot Syaoran still uses Seishirou’s fighting style, as far as I can gather.

Lava Lamp Guy uses a style that looks a lot more like the one used by Cardcaptor Sakura’s Syaoran. With his arms up.

Which also makes sense, if Lava Lamp is Clow Reed’s heir. (somehow)

I’m very concerned.

I do want to point out something fun - CCS!Syaoran typically uses fire AND lightning magic. Clone!TRC!Syaoran ONLY ever uses fire magic, while Real!TRC!Syaoran so far has ONLY ever used lightning magic. Just a fun little detail about this whole thing I really like.

LAVA LAMP HAS CHOSEN THE MOST CONFUSING LANGUAGE POSSIBLE.

So: The one for whom Sakura was the most precious was AutoPilot Syaoran, and not the fragment of Lava Lamp’s Soul.

Which means he’s TRYING to say: It was AutoPilot Syaoran that had feelings for Sakura, and not... Our Syaoran?

Which makes no sense to me, really.

Yuuko’s disappointment i palpable though.

If Lava Lamp had just been a little bit earlier... were they hoping he would get there before AutoPilot attacked anyone? Were they concerned about Fai in particular?

Or were they hoping he would get there before the seal broke? What would have changed in terms of souls if he had?

Does he still exist inside Lava Lamp or is it all gone now?
