A volcano at rest, sleeping in,

Dormant, suppressing urges to sin.

Still cold of blood, while magma runs deep,

No healing warmth or steam to share and keep.

Temperamental, one ashfall away from erupting,

Breaking down and falling apart, earthquakes striking.

Tension rising, tectonic plates caving in,

Toxic and destructive, on the verge of giving in.
