You didn’t hear me say this, but her favorite show to watch is House. She’s got a thing for that Wilson guy, you know. Fufufu.

Let’s see, this lass haaaaates the cold. You’d typically find her under a mound of blankets, or sunning herself outside. 90 degree weather, that’s my favorite too! What can I say, when you’re hot, you’re hot!

Word on the street is she loves corgis! Them stumpy leg dogs get me going, too. Can’t jump up on you if they don’t have legs, ohoho.

That darned Houndoom.
Havoc was always getting himself lost, time and time again. His nose was impeccable; the problem was that the Pokemon had a knack of following that nose -- to wherever it had led him.
Long story short, that’s what led Blaine to sneaking into the Magma base. He really wondered why he was sneaking in the first place, Havoc wasn’t entirely quiet when he ran after whatever had caught his fancy this time. He wasn’t a small dog by any means, and quiet was not in his programming - he bounded wherever he went, knocking over whatever was in his way.
Blaine sighed. He could only pray that this wouldn’t be an international debacle like the last time Havoc had gotten loose -- the old man was a prominent gym leader, but there were things that even he couldn’t shake off.
He still owed thousands of dollars to that one museum... Havoc had learned the hard way that old bones were most certainly not for chewing.

Shopping, shopping. He’d never admit it, but Blaine really liked shopping. He liked popping by the Lilycove department store to see what kind of new gadgets and gizmos they had. He was definitely in the market for new technology -- anything to make his time in the lab either faster or more interesting. Heck, if it was a new mind puzzle/optical illusion book, he’d pick that up. Sometimes things took HOURS to react and do something... and he could only do the crossword for so long before he shredded the newspaper out of sheer rage.
So, it was one of those extended trips where he did in fact, see a puzzle book that he didn’t have before. Walking over to the small section of knick-knacks and other clearance items, he grinned. The lab section was next.

Once a Rocket, always a Rocket; wasn’t that how things went?
Blaine had tried, however unsuccessfully, to sever all ties to the organization. He ran; they always found a way to track him down. Eventually he resigned himself to the fact that he would never be able to purge them completely from his life. He would even venture to say that he’d become friends with some of the executives. Friends was a loose word -- it was more like a don’t kill me, I won’t kill you sort of agreement. A civil cease fire.
Archer was one of those executives.
What he was doing in front of the executive’s lair with a bottle of champagne, he’d never know. Perhaps Blaine was far too giving. And, he hadn’t seen the other man in a while and, damned if he’d admit it, he missed him.
A little.

So, so many trees. Not that Cinnabar didn’t have trees, but they were typically relegated to a secluded forest, other than the human-transplanted ones that were found in the park. Synthetic trees, almost. But it was always nice to get back to the roots (heh, pun) of nature.
Blaine was on a small vacation around the Hoenn region and had decided to check out the fabled treetop city. He hadn’t been in decades. It was quite interesting to see how the city had grown [metaphorically and literally] since his last visit.
Honestly, his last visit was less than fun - he had nearly broken his dang leg by tripping over an invisible Keckleon. The old man had - thankfully - managed to twist his body around so that he’d fallen on his butt instead of a leg, but it was certainly an unpleasant time.
He secretly prayed that he wouldn’t repeat that adventure anytime soon.
