Mangala War Cry

Mangala is the vedic deity associated with the red planet know as Mars. He is the god of war. Mangala rides on a golden chariot drawn by eight red horses.His attributes are a club spear and trident.This composition is my interpretation of Mangala's energy.The white noise rhythm in the beginning of the piece represents him sharpening his weapons and preparing for a great battle, next the white noise kind of morphs into a rhythmic movement, this is the sound of the horses walking around and getting ready. When the melody creeps in, it's a representation of Mangala tuning in and planning his attack. At 3:24 into the piece is when the great battle takes place. The battle ground is self, the opposing forces are the light and dark that exist in us all.
