Hey Anon Friend, I was looking through Quest’s concept art earlier and remembered that Armilly at one point had this tassel/ponytail made out of fire and thought, “huh, that’d be cool for the ‘verse where Armilly’s fire magic gets broken”

It’s funny you bring that song up though; it’s one of my favorites by Imagine Dragons and it’s actually the song that stemmed my original idea of Voltbot Armilly. The fact that she’s got a “demon” inside her hits her hard

i just thought of the Well Incident having come up in conversation or something before they stumble across the ghost town. like maybe tarah and/ore thayne got really badly spooked and afterwards one of the goosebucketers is like "well, nobody had to be fished out of a well this time, so we've seen worse. " and the non goosebucketeers are like "what" and they explain a little

I am a firm believer that previous Noodle Incidents from the Goosebucketeers' past have come up many times, and the reaction from the others has always been "what."

I've said this somewhere before, but when Orik first meets them in Quest, he wonders how they got this far without getting defeated. As he gets to know them, he instead wonders how they got this far in the first place.

a little voltbot armilly fluff: the questers hanging out together, roasting marshmallows or something with armilly's fire powers, + copernica going "CAN i roast marshmallows with electricity though?" and armilly egging her on (also armilly WILL eat marshmallows that are currently on fire)

Yeesssss, it doesn't happen often but every once in a while Copernica has a question like that and it leads to a specific brand of Shenanagins that are For Science(tm)

I think it's basically unanimous now that Armilly will eat marshmallows that are still on fire and no one can stop her.

hey remember that voltbot hybrid armilly theory thing with poor milly having been patient zero for a plague? i just pictured the goosebucketeers stumbling across one of the villages that milly had been in before goosebucket, and milly's just wandering shellshocked seeming through this deserted village, having vague memories and then she wanders into the house she'd briefly lived in once and goes. i lived here, once. (bonus: milly has EXTREME fear reactions to lifespark relaxants. )

I imagine Armilly is very quiet about the Before Time and basically never talks about it, so it's especially a shock to Galleo and Copernica to hear her bring it up so suddenly and without any resistance.

Your take on Voltbot Armilly has always been neat and I enjoy hearing about it.

Just realized that with the confirmation that the Quest era is before humans evolved, I do believe Voltbot Armilly is thoroughly Jossed.

I'm not letting go of my AU, though.

Demons is an EXTREMELY Voltbot Milly song, all the best voltbot milly songs that i've found have this sort of fire motif somewhere or at least heat

It definitely is!! And yeah a lot of them probably do because of all that talking we did a while back with the fire ideas. She’s got a lot locked away and fire helps her let it out
