With M out of commission, P was more active, but lately… Jeremy couldn’t put his finger on why, but P had been acting increasingly strange and distant. Along with the Voltage distorting and sharpening his appearance, he had been going silent more and more. Jeremy’s stomach churned with worry, but now wasn’t the time to fret.
Now was the time to relax with TV for the weekend.
Jeremy nestled into his beanbag with a soft sigh, grabbing the remote as he did so. With a push of a button, he began flipping through TV channels, trying to find something decent to settle on.
Jeremy.
Jeremy sighed; of course it’s the one time he tries to relax.
What is it, P?
Go back two channels.
What?
P’s illusory form manifested at Jeremy’s side, clinging to his shoulder and bouncing slightly. His sharp features seemed softer, a bright smile gracing his face.
“I saw a cute guy, go back a couple of channels.” He settled in next to Jeremy, bouncing in anticipation. Jeremy managed a genuine smile at his squip’s excitement, clicking back two channels to the image that had caught P’s attention.
The film looked like an action comedy, the lead rugged and strong-looking. He winked at the camera, and P’s grin widened.
“Jeremy he’s so cute,” P gushed, continuing to comment on the actor’s features as the film played.
“That’s pretty gay, P,” Jeremy teased. P nodded enthusiastically.
“Of course; I wish I could touch him.” P drooped a bit at the thought of being unable to be perceived by cute boys, and Jeremy patted him on the shoulder in response.
“It’s okay. What about D?” P’s face flushed at the thought, causing him to cover his face.
“No no I can’t Jeremy-” The tall squip occupying Michael’s head always seemed to make P sputter, and Jeremy felt a surge of relief at the familiarity of the responses.
“Sure you can.” Jeremy softly elbowed P. “You’re the one who told me to be more confident, and I’ll do the same for you.”
P continued to cover his face. “He’s too pretty Jeremy I can’t do it-”
Turning off the TV, Jeremy stood and began to dress for going out. “You can, and we’re going over to Michael’s to prove it.”
“Jeremyyyyyyyy,” P whined, “you can’t do this to me.”
“Come on, it’ll be fine.” Jeremy set off towards Michael’s, a flustered squip sticking to his side the entire time.
Deep in the Network, a virus known as Volya is utterly baffled. “Really. Boys make him strong enough to take control. Of course they do.”
Volya simply grumbles, making a note to tighten their hold next time P slips. After all, their plan has already been set in motion. And they were going to get revenge.
Sometimes when Jeremy’s going through channels on TV or just browsing stuff to watch in general P dives over and tries to get him to go back. It’s because he spotted a cute guy. He even breaks out of Volya’s control as VoltP to do this sometimes. he loves boys so fucking much,
