Wow... Shiro straight up called Kuron “evil” at one point.

Shiro call Kuron evil in S7, Ch6 "The Journey Within" at the few firsts minutes of chapter (If I don't remember bad). The fact is that, yes, I remember perfectly that Shiro calls Kuron "evil" (Because I fucking scream at my tablet "He wasn't evil he just want to be a paladin!!!!!")

Honestly, this just makes me wish the show had kept Kuron around and hadn’t brought Shiro back. It would’ve been a nice reference to GoLion (where Shiro had a twin), and it could’ve been interesting to see Kuron learn he’s a clone before the team heads to Earth and having to tell Adam what happened to the original Shiro. Could’ve been interesting.

Okay so, if there’s anything Kingdom Hearts III and Voltron: Legendary Defender have taught us, it’s that giving the villain a hasty sob story that causes the heroes to instantly forgive them in their final moments while they show no sympathy towards the children they abused is a really shitty way to wrap up a story and will do nothing but piss off the fans.

When did Shiro call Kuron evil? Seriously not cool

I’m not sure of the exact episode, but his tab on the “Characters Page” attributes the following quote to him under “Gallows Humor”:“Well, I’m sorry, Lance, but I guess having my consciousness transplanted from the infinity of Voltron’s inner Quintessence into the dead body of an evil clone of myself has left me a little out of sorts for the past few weeks.”

I mean, it’s not like Kuron only acted against the team when Haggar was directly controlling him and expressed fear and confusion the entire time it was happening until his own friends put him in a coma and forced Shiro’s soul on him, overwriting Kuron’s personality with Shiro’s, either killing or permanently enslaving him depending on whether his own soul was lost in the process.

Either way, they infringed on Kuron’s rights as a sentient being, simply because he was “just a clone”.

Aren’t they just the best friends a guy could have?

Allura Deserved Better Than to Be Fridged for Lance’s Development

Okay so, to my understanding, this is the Voltron writers’ logic:

Lotor: Enacts reforms to eliminate racism in his empire and tries to minimize casualties on both sides while expanding the empire’s borders = IRREDEEMABLY EVIL AND POWER HUNGRY!

Zarkon: Tells his ally to “Stop fraternizing with the servants” pre Face-Heel Turn, abuses his son, attempts to wipe out all non-Galra, and even then only sees his subjects as expendable pawns in his quest for godhood = MISGUIDED HERO! HE ONLY WANTS WHAT’S BEST FOR HIS PEOPLE!

...

And yet these people also worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender?

Conclusion: I am very nervous about “The Dragon Prince” in spite of all the good things I’ve head about it.
