Sometimes my laziness pays off! I had to opportunity to fly with this overly dry humored, sarcastic man Mike on my recent trip to Vancouver. After asking to borrow his pen and being told I’d be added to a ‘Pen Book’, I honestly thought he was just giving me a hard time. What I became a part of later is this community like passion project of his. The stories in his MANY volumes are both hysterical and moving. It’s ideas like this that inspire me, and prove that in many ways every human is imperfectly alike. Mike: flying with you was a joy!
