Alright so Totally Not Mark gave credit to DBZA for keeping the franchise alive in the western world, and while I am happy he got YouTube to finally block his content in Japan and more or less “won” against Toei (who has been trash in the whole ordeal), his comment absolutely struck me.
English speakers. Y’all. Please. You’re but a baby in this franchise, compared to the rest of the western world. Many French, Spanish, Portuguese (BR and POR) and German speakers actually got in the franchise a solid ten years before you guys. OG Dragon ball aired in Mexico, on public tv in 93. And France? Since 1988
