A quicksketch of the people the forces of evil in my AU align with most often with. Mostly me ideating on designs before I jump into this project like I did with my last sketch series, this time focused on the other leaders of each empire (I also have wargaming on the mind)
It's really late so I'm only gonna give a brief write up before I jump into the project in full, but basically the teams are:
Sage - Rules her empire with maximum control, knows where you are, what you're doing, and is subtly manipulating you. Always. Sticks - Wildwoman manipulated by sage and is now boss of woodwall forest. Hunts Metal's robots like big game on the border. Phage - Prion disease thinks she's Sage's family. Runs all crime in Sage's city, but like, because she wants her to improve :)
Metal - Mad king who wants to be Sonic, rules a brutal kingdom, doesn't really care for mortals much except in how they can validate him as the real sonic. Sara - Machievellian Vassal of Metal Sonic who he simps for because she liked the real Sonic. Uses this sad, sad fact to her advantage to keep her power secure. Way more okay with this than she should be. The Heavy King - Leads the hard-boiled heavies, now called the border princes that guard the feral robot wastes. Generally likes Metal Sonic and will capture horrors for him to fight and use in the army, secretly hopes Metal will slip up one day so he can do a funny.
Dr. Starline - The self-described 'better eggman.' Vain, immoral bastard who uses an army of hypercompetitive scientists with no morals to help him conquer the world. Honey - Girlboss whose moral bankruptcy has been greatly subsidized by the billions of dollars she earns from her own dystopian city state, only reason she's actually around is because she makes Starline's seasonal wardrobe :) oh and she can buy the most insane tech Dr. Von Schlemmer - Dr. Schlemmer is at this point a young, reckless scientist, who will show those FOOLS at the academy that his experiments on TIME were not a waste of University resources. No matter who he has to work with.
