What exactly is Dapper Day? I'm going to Disney for spring break and I'd like to be in on the fun.

Dapper Day is an unofficial Disney event that takes place twice in Disneyland and WDW (and occasionally Disneyland Paris!) There’s a spring event (taking place mainly on Sunday, February 23 for Disneyland and March 9 for WDW) and a fall soiree (in September).

According to their website: 

DAPPER DAY Events at Disney Parks are your chance enjoy your favorite rides and attractions while looking your best. All sophisticated fashions, from vintage-inspired to contemporary chic, are encouraged.

So basically, Dapper Day is simply a day to dress a little fancier at the parks, with scheduled events all throughout the day to hang out with other dapper folk!

When I was in middle-school

I was homeschooled so I never heard of My Chemical Romance or cutting or bullying. I still went through a phase though. I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, the Craft and Hex. I wore 90s teen clothes and red lipstick. I didn't fix my hair in any specific way just natural. I read Harry Potter, Twilight and the Lightning Thief. I've grown and changed, but that's who I was and a part of who I still am. I was awkward and weird but I thought I was cool. Just thought is share.
