20 letters to remind international Americans to vote this fall

I wrote to twenty US voting citizens asking them to register for an absentee ballot for the elections this fall. This required getting international stamps, which are apparently like a buck fifty now, to send letters to Czechia, Switzerland, Canada, GB, France, Greece, Austria, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

I really hope I wrote the addresses correctly.

Hey Gen Z

A sincere, non-judgmental question: can you read cursive?  Is it no big deal, or does it take extra concentration?

I ask because I’m writing letters for Votefwd.org, and they recommend print, because the newest generation of voters weren’t all taught cursive in school.  I write faster and more comfortably in cursive, but I don’t want to be obstructive to anyone’s reading experience.  Lend an old lady your insight?

I overcommitted to how many letters I could write to voters months ago so I borrowed a pen plotter and used my remarkable tablet to handwrite it so I got all 180 letters out in time earlier this month

This isn't all of them, I don't have a photo of all of them because I sent them out as they were finished. This is like either 40 or 60.

I'll miss the staples 100% post-consumer envelopes :(

Every product I buy gets discontinued :( :(

I used aspen100 paper, which is recycled, and exclusively the Osiris Rex USPS stamps. Why would people buy boring flag stamps on a roll when nice stamps are literally the same price?

We're writing 10 Million Voter Turnout Letters in 2020.

Dear friends, I am inviting you to join me in writing “please vote” letters to otherwise unlikely voters for the upcoming November election. This election is extremely important, and encouraging voters to participate is one of the most important actions we can take from home to protect our democracy.

I am volunteering with an organization called Vote Forward to write letters to voters from home. Vote Forward is running a campaign called The Big Send. Our mission is to send 10 million of these letters to voters in key states in October.

Handwritten letters to voters have significantly increased voter turnout in multiple experiments. Vote Forward makes it very easy to get started and make an impact!
