His father was a famous rockstar back in Japan and that’s where Ayumu got his talent from
He has 5 half-siblings and his father believed in polygamy, hence why Ayumu doesn’t believe in monogamy
Everyone thought that he will be his father’s successor in becoming a legendary musician/rockstar as well, he was in a band called EXiLE for a few years and currently, they’re on hiatus.
He plays the drums in his band.
He was dubbed as the cute one in their band because apparently, the roles of handsome, sexy, beautiful, or macho were already taken by his other band mates sadly.
After his band went into a disagreement with each members, they thought of a hiatus. So in return, Ayumu went to find something he liked and decided to study psychology.
He’s been living in New York for about 10 years now and his work is more on research rather than, actually talking to people and helping them get better.
He doesn’t like going back to Japan because everyone there knows him and his popularity irritates him.
He also didn’t study in Japan, since it was hard to graduate when you had people throwing their bodies at you willingly from left to right to distract you.
He likes writing and has published a couple of journals from his research
A lot of people don’t take him seriously when he says he’s a psychologist getting his PhD because of personality and how he dresses (still in his Harajuku type of casual clothes along with his blond hair and make-up), he often instead though, gets mistaken as an escort in votive.
Contrary to what people would think or believe, he and his father get along very well. The dude may have been a whack job but, that whack job did his best to be a good father to him and all his siblings.
