I have never been prouder to be Colombiana.
Yeah, we have our own issues, we're faaar from perfect but look what a little love and compassion can do. Yeah, there are some xenophobic dick heads but they can shove their hate up their butts. Colombia isn't rich like the U.S, in fact, we're a third world country there's a lot of poverty but we are doing our best to give what we can. we're not a big territory either, but look what my country is doing to help our brothers and sisters, we're scooching a little bit closer to make space for everyone. I grew up hearing the phrase "or everyone on the bed or everyone on the floor" which means everyone gets treated equally, I know equity would probably better but at least we're trying.
