Was talking to @voxmyriad who told me that Thorn was based on Marvel’s Thor and I am utterly delighted by that knowledge
Thorn might also be on the larger side, maybe getting some of that gene that made Wrecker a big mac. The two of them would absolutely get along and the CG knows when the Bad Batch is in town cuz the walls start shaking at HQ from Thorn and Wrecker sparring
Thorn would try to put Wrecker in a headlock and, well, it doesn’t turn out quite as he’s expecting
I just got to Clone Wars fandom and at first you seemed too intimidating to actually follow, but I saw several of your posts reblogged by other people and I did come to the "oh a knowledgeable and enthusiastic nerd whose opinions are strongly supported but who is still reasonable when someone else doesn't agree" conclusion and decided I was in favor of some respectful deep analysis, and also enormous crack potential, so here I am!
Oh, this did my heart a lot of good, you’re very kind, thank you. ❤️ That’s exactly what I strive to be, someone who is half-shitposting blog and half-serious, respectful meta, all of which is okay with someone not really digging the content of it, if it’s not their jam. And actually, in a lot of ways, I like that idea, that sometimes people who disagree with me find me still worth listening to (if they want, no one’s obligated to listen to me if they’re not interested, I promise! XD), because I strive to be like that as well and I’ve been lucky to find people like that, too. We don’t always have to agree, but as long as we’re respectful of each other and enjoy each others’ passions, then fandom is pretty good. ALSO THANK YOU FOR APPRECIATING THE CRACK, as much as I do love serious meta, I want my real legacy to be my shitposts. 😂
Line of dialogue prompt if you'd like it: “I saved you a seat.”
“I saved you a seat.”
Spar meets the eyes of every member of the rest of the squad before drily saying, “Really, now?”
Alvha grins and pats his lap, “You’re going to have to eventually.”
“With the amount of favors you have riding on me actually breaking and sitting on your lap? No, I’m going to do whatever I want,” Spar says, and flops down onto the floor, waiting for the squad to break at risk of getting told off by Bajir.
Right as the door to the practice room is opening, Maze breaks and scoots his shebs over so Spar can hop up and sit with the rest of them.
In my neighborhood in Queens there are these two stray cats, and every night one of them will start meowing that old "I'm so cute, someone reward me" melody, and then the other one will chime in with "Stop trying to make snacks happen, it's not going to happen," and they growl at each other like an angry married couple, inflections in their yowls and everything, and it sounds so tooth and claw, but then at dawn I'll see them curled up together on the roof of the garage across the alley.
This is fantastic, please tell me you have named them. I love them both so much.
Send asks!
Sirius: I haven't studied at all for our Transfiguration final.
Remus: That sounds like a pretty serious problem.
Sirius: *clutching at heart, touched* ...you think I'm pretty?
I have a quick question about Round Planet! I very much want to watch it, but images of spiders are huge triggers for me, worse than actual IRL spiders, and all my tentative googling has not told me if there is a segment on spiders. I would love to partake of the dry British absurdist humor (without a panic attack if possible), so if you've seen it, I ask you: are there spiders? (Related, someone should make an offshoot of doesthedogdie that's called aretherespiders to end our suffering.)
Can someone help out my fine reader? I myself have not watched the show!
You're not coming to CONVergence in Minneapolis by chance? (Just curious since you said you're visiting the US next week and it's the weekend of the 4th)
Aw man, no, though I'd love to go back to that con one day! I'm going to Alabama. For normal reasons.
